I have a couple of problems. Firstly, the auto programme now shows a cycle time of 199mins but actually takes much longer than that to complete - more like 4 hours. On the quick (!) wash cycle the time is 97 minutes, whereas it should be less than 30 mins. Second problem, the detergent box flap won't stay shut when loading, so I have to put the tablet in loose in the bottom. Could the 2 problems be related?

There is an issue with the machine not heating properly, it could be the control panel or the thermostat, The flap not staying shut is not connected to this. ... Dishwashers

When dishwasher is set to begin, sensor takes very long period of time. Cycles are longer than minutes indicated. Dishwasher fills with water but does not wash. Water then drains as though cycle is complete and moves to next cycle. Then the process continues. When cycle for drying is reached, much heat is given and occasionally it smells as though there is burning. A 82 minute procedure turns into hours.

Model IGV 659.1 Dishwasher When switched on the 'time display' takes longer than 2 minutes to display the planned wash duration. The display works fine to set a delayed start. After cycling the start delay round to 0, or after RESET (buttons A and C pressed) the unit is then 'nudged' into displaying a time. After, at last, a time is displayed the unit works fine.

Hi - I have a Neff S5456X2GB/13 and it has decided to wash cold and doesn't dry. When washing in auto mode it seems to take forever but does eventually stop, and I've noticed that when opened the time to go indicator can vary quite a lot (sometime goes backwards in that if you wait ten minutes and look again, it's saying it's going to take longer than it did before) I have replaced the pump in the past so I know how to dismantle the machine. My Bosch SHE45M built-in dishwasher is suddenly taking an extra-long time to go through its cycles. On Regular wash it will countdown from 117 minutes to 31 minutes. When it hits that time it resets to 87 minutes, then counts down to 1 minute and will not stop. I have to hit the cancel-reset buttons for it to drain. I have tried to do a hard reset by cutting the power at the breaker for 20 minutes or more. I'm interested in potential parts and a description of how to fit it! Thanks in advance.

Electronic control pad is pushed for quick wash and the LED display would show 52 minutes. Now when it pushed the display shows 17 minutes and performs all the functions that would occur at the end of a normal cycle. My dishwasher is brand new Model FDB1502RGS0. I used it for the first time today. It seemed to be cleaning for a very long time. It was up to 2 hours and I had to leave so I turned it off.
