Having problems with your KitchenAid Architect? II S SERIES KUDS03FT Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher ?

Dishwasher is not cleaning well, dirty film all over everything, like its not rinsing. In rinse cycle only, some water comes out of lower left port inside but nothing else. Hear a low buzz underneath unit like a motor or pump is energized but no water getting to the top.During normal wash cycle, buzz from underneath seems to cycle on and off, say every minute or so like its cycling on an overload. Do I have a bad pump and if so how do I get to it?

Hello, I have a Kitchen Aid (model # KUDMO1T JWHO) dishwasher that runs the motor in all cycles, with water fill & drain working fine, but the pump is not pumping water during any cycle, as the spinners and the inside of the washer are dry when I open the door, except for the water sitting in the bottom. Also, no normal swishing sound of water when the motor runs in any cycle. Looks to me like a mechanical break in the pump drive. How do I check the pump drive on this model? Do you have any

My Bosch diswasher is hanging up in the cycle (at 102 mins. in normal cycle and 38 mins in quick cycle). I hear what sounds like a one second pumping of water into the sink area, a pause, and then another one second pumping of water, on and on, but there's no progression beyond this point. One possible cause: a few weeks ago someone turned off the hot water at the heater and another person tried to run the dishwasher. The dishwasher did not function because it could not get hot water. My dishwasher is making a buzzing sound, sounds like its coming from the undersided of the machine. Maybe while pumping water? It is pretty much a constant noise, subsided briefly relatively early in the cycle. In the manual, on page 21, it says under noises that it could be in the wash module and will stop when the object is ground up. Is that possible on this unit?

I have an asko D3450 dishwasher. Washer makes buzzing/humming noise at start of cycle and then randomly through cycle. I checked the sump and pump appears to be clean and impeller spins freely. The cycle seems to work ok. Water is pumping out ok. If you open the door to stop the cycle, the buzzing will continue for a few minutes then stop. If the cycle is restart, the buzzing starts again. The vibrations seem to originate from under the lower spin arm.

If the sound is a bussing - it is the capacitor mounted to the pump. It is failing.Shown here (big white cylinder on right of pic).. ... Asko 24 in. D3450 Dishwasher

Whirlpool dishwasher doesn't seem to fill with enough water despite good water pressure. Therefore, pump sounds like it is cycling from pumping water for about 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds to pumping water for 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds, etc. Spray arms rotate only for the 2 seconds when pump is actually pumping water. Dishes do not get clean.

GE PDW7300 dishwasher - must slam the door shut to get a light on the panel and when the START button is pressed, it looks like the dishwasher is cycling thru a wash, but there is no water. When I press the START cycle again, it seems like it thinks its pumping the water out for a few minutes, then the light will go off. If I start it again and push really hard against the door, I can hear the water go on. But if I stop pushing the door, the water stops. The dishwasher was installed in 2001, but

I am a licensed plumber who installed a frigidaire fdb1o5rem1 dishwasher for a customer about 2 years ago. It has water to the solenoid valve and the screen is clean. I can see water coming in to the unit on left side through the port hole on the inside of the unit. Dishes do not get clean and it doesnt act like water is being distrubuted inside the dishwasher. Soap never gets washed away from door. Dishwasher makes funny sound in mid cycle like the pump is not running in wash cycle. Discharge p

My GSD3600 GE Dishwasher will not finish/start a cycle. The washer filled with water and during the cycle I heard a pop like someone knocked something over in the kitchen. Fills with water, sounds like it starts to pump water then stops, then start again. It attempts to start pumping water 3 or 4 times them turns off leaving the water in the tub. I have read about the water needing to heat up for the cycle to advance. When I check the water that is left in the tub it is warm but not hot. The heating element is not hot either. I did a continuity test on the heating element and it seems to check out ok. I also did a continuity test on the red wire from the heating e

I have a Bosch integrated dishwater that is just over 2 years old. It has suddenly stopped working and the tray at the bottom is not emptying, although you can still hear a buzzing sound. The cycle does not go beyond this point. I have emptied the tray of water and the dishwasher will start again, and pump water in, but it then stops, as though it is not able to pump water out. Does anyone know what this is? Could it be the pump? A blockage?

Dishwasher fills with hot water. Float OK - water feed stops when full. Motor humms but no water spray (in all opperating modes). Cancel selection (with cancel button) and close the door. The water drains then the unit shuts off. Water feed OK. Drain Cycle OK. Looks like spray pump hung but do not know. Cannot find a reset button (as with disposal) or way to free hung pump motor. I did see glass pieces in the drain. Possibly a small piece hanging the motor.

My dishwasher has power but does not turn on to any cycle when the control knob is in that position. It was adding water and starting to wash, but not going through the whole cycle and not rinsing and drying. Now it has water stuck in it. Dishwasher wont fill with water. just before it stopped filling i was turning the dial (a lot) between the wash cycles back and forth to attempt to get it to fill and drain (I didn't let it go through a cycle). We also removed the hose from the machine as it had split and replaced it and we had the machine tilted on it's side. the dial still clicks round but it sounds like the pump is going and it doesn't seem to be filling with water. Have a Westinghouse 905 dishwasher (guessing approx 5-10yrs old). When I turn it on it's starts is cycle as expected then stops after about 10mins and loses all power (can't turn it on or get any lights to light up for sometime almost like it needs to cool down) at this point the dishwasher is full of water. It is not the pump however as as soon as you can get power to it (sometimes some hours later) and turn it on the first thing it does is pump out the water. Any ideas??
