Having problems with your KitchenAid Architect® KUDT03FT 24 in Builtin Dishwasher ?

Dishes don't always get clean, particularly on the top shelf. I suspect that the built in garbage disposal may be clogged. How do I take off the bottom water sprayer arm to get to the garbage disposal?

Greetings,
\012 first off, let me say this..its not intended to be used as a garbage disposal.. it has a strainer(screen) and a blade that grinds up food , but not like you would use in your sink disposal. its for small amounts of foodstuffs that failed to come off after you have rinsed off your dishes.
\012
\012 the lower spray arm by un-screwing the center cap clockwise (yes this is the opposite of normal threading direction, the plug will go down and out the back of the spinner).

\012
5) Both the fine filter (round 8") and the water conduit leading back and up to the top will need to be removed.

\012
6) The water conduit has to be removed. It might be possible to take it apart, but the more direct approach is to release the back (here) clip, and the top clip.

\012
7) A similar clip must be released at the top:

\012
8) With the water conduit released from the clips, the whole assemble must be rotated thirty degrees clockwise about the central pump outlet. This will release this plastic item from its bayonet mount there so it can be removed.

\012
9) Remove this thing.

\012
10) Remove first of three torqx screws to release the filter. The screws are at ten o'clock, eight o'clock and 4'clock. This is the eight o'clock screw.

\012
11) Remove the second of three torqx screws to release the filter. This is the ten o'clock screw.

\012
12) Remove the third of three torqx screws to release the filter. This is the four o'clock screw.

13) Remove the filter and base.

I am not getting any water out of the bottom spray arm in my bosch SGS47E02GB35 dishwasher. We are getting a grit on the dishes on the top rack. We have done many things to solve the problem. Running tang crystles, runing CLR through it, taking it apart to check for blockages, checking the impeller on the pump, blowing comprssed air through it, scrubbing the inside many times. The funny thing is it only happens about every third wash cycle or so. The upper spray arm is free with no obstruction. The dishes on the bottom rack are clean. We use Electosol and jet dry. Kenmore dishwasher type 573-D, model 665.16034402. Items on top rack don't get washed. Items on bottom rack are washed fine. Appears top sprayer and maybe middle sprayer aren't getting water. We use top rack in raised position so this doesn't seem to be the problem.
