My dishwasher leaks water from the top of my sink when in the drain cycle mode causing a mess on the counter top. How do I stop this leak? The plastic cover to the part which is located next to the faucet is cracked but there appears to be no leaks on the hose or on the part itself. Also, what is the purpose of this part? Is this the actual drain for the dishwasher and if so, why doesn't it tie directly into the drain?

My power button cover broke on the dishwasher and I figured out the part number I needed, but when I put it back together I got the wires crossed on the board and door switch. Now the control lights up , but the dishwasher will not run a cycle. THe question is does the plug on the door switch have to be a certain way, because there are three wires and you can connect the plug both ways. I did turn the plug, but it still does not run. Did I break the switch? Bosch SHU9956uc/14

The wires do have to be a certain way on the door. Otherwise a door open can tell the board that's it shut and vice versa. The easiest way to do it, is test the switch with an ohmmeter, place the meter on the switch, push button in and see if the rea ... Bosch SHU9956 Built-in Dishwasher

Cranky dishwasher I have to admit my wife's solution is the only one that works. Our ten-year-old Superba built-in usually starts a normal cycle part-way through, at the wash part, without filling or opening the dispenser door. Therefore the dishes come out with the soil now baked on. Closing the door, selecting normal and start results in a pump-out sound, or at least just the pump running to wash the dishes. The dishwasher ignores any cancel button push, and the light does not come on over t

Leaking Dishwasher seems to be leaking. Otherwise it's performing fine. I have laminate floors, and there are water seeping out along the seams of the flooring area near the dishwasher. The dishwasher is captured by the floor (dishwasher was installed first then floor was put in at 1/2" higher level), so we can't pull it out to check where the leak is coming from. Our GE model GSD4320Z00B is having a problem with the drain system. I've run the unit in the test mode and it does pump the dishwasher down. The problem is the unit does NOT pump down during a normal wash cycle. The fact that the unit works in test tells me it is not the pump. I've checked all the hoses and drain paths and there are no obstructions, again verified by the fact it works in test mode. Any test that can be used to determine the problem besides replacing parts one by one?
