Hello - I have a LG LD 2060SH and wanted to clean it completely - sadly I have a part called the Valve or Float Component (small white plastic thing!!!) and I can't locate where it should go! Yes, I undid all the bottom filters on the water inlet system and spray arms, they were all clogged even after special cleaning - Can you explain where it goes as I put everything back together - now it is all squeaky clean! Something is causing the DW motor not to fire (so water is not sprayed around). It fills fine. It drains fine. I've tested the motor - it also works. I've tried all the various cycle choices; all do the same thing. Water fills but is not pushed around the tub (absolutely no motion from the motor, whatsoever). There was some debri down in the bottom, but I've cleaned it all out, wiped everything clean, and still no motor activation.

I have a maytag jetclean quiet pack dishwasher. The top dishes are not getting clean. The glasses always have sandy residue in them and sometimes orange juice etc at the bottom of the glass isn't removed. I have added jet dry, this doesnt work. I ran the rinse cycle today and opened it up during the cycle and I didn't see the middle pop up spin thing in the middle of the bottom shelf doing anything. It should be spraying during the rinse cycle correct? Thanks for your help

MAYTAG MDBH979AWS DOES NOT SEEM TO FILL WITH WATER, AND HAS STOPPED CLEANING THE DISHES..My husband took everything apart and we cleaned each piece and put it back together , there was no indication that anything was clogged, and he was able to determine that water was coming in to the washer, but dishes are still dirty. There seems to be soap residue on the bottom of the tub. We also check to see if it was draining properly and that was fine also. Any other suggestions?

I have a Fridgidaire Dishwasher, supplied new in a home purchased in 2004. Model FDB126RBB1. During the last two weeks I've been seeing a heavy scum on everything which will show it easily, like plastic glasses. No food particles or anything of that nature, just not getting clean. Sure that it's on all the rest, but can't see it so well. I've heard such a thing can be caused by a faulty inlet valve. Where is that and how do I test for it? Are there any other reasonable places to look for a

I have the Siemens SL84A305UC Dishwasher. All of a sudden it stopped cleaning dishes, but everything sounds normal and it fills and drains water, and sounds like it is completing the cycle. In the past when I opened the door while it was actively washing the water would spray out aggressively. Now, when I opened it while it was supposed to be washing I see just a small amount of water coming from the bottom wash blade, and not even enough to turn the blade very far. I thought it was just a c

Bosch SHU4302 DW has a leak in the bottom left. I cleaned the gasket etc. but no luck. Slow leak drip by drip in the wash cycle. This model does not seem to have the steam vent that other Bosch models have. I can clearly see the water past the gasket on the left, but not the right. But the gaskets on left and right seem to be located identically. Any help in resolving is appreciated. Best Regards

Hi! My bosch SHE43 built in dishwasher is about 2.5 yrs old, dishes aren't getting clean anymore. We have *really* hard water so I use the max rinse agent, but doesn't help. I clean the little canister filter with each wash, and just washed off that grate in the bottom. I also just cleaned the trap under the sink, but it didn't look bad at all. The problem is a grit left on glasses and things just not getting all the way clean. When I remove the grate at the bottom, there's a bit of water

Hi, I have a Fisher Paykel DD603I (integrated) dishdrawer unit. The bottom drawer soap dispenser has water in it after it runs (and leftover soap), and there is a small amount of water sitting in the bottom of the drawer. The dishes don't get totally clean. I have removed and cleaned the spray arm, drain filter, filter plate and bottom of tub. Found nothing clogged or particularly dirty. Put all the parts back in and everything moves freely. Ran it empty, and same problem occurred.

My Bosch Classixx is not filling with water and no sound of the pump trying to work either. I fiddled around with it as it was not cleaning bowls properly on the bottom shelf - plates and cutlery were fine! Think I might have disturbed the round dome thing - is this the "float switch"? There is also about an inch in the bottom of the filter area which I have cleaned out of gunk but still with water there. Any ideas please!

I recently found the upper spray arm in the bottom of the dishwasher after running it. I can't see any piece broken off of it but I also can't see any way to put it back on. I suspect some small piece broke off in a very clean break and I just can't see it. Is this fairly easy to purchase and reattach myself? I can see the holder for it screws in and out easily.

I own a GE Profile GSD 4330 dishwasher. Recently it has been leaving some water in the bottom of the tub. This water accumulates over time until the entire bottom is filled. I have checked the air vent, garbage disposal unit and the filter in the bottom of the dishwasher (which was filthy). I cleaned the filter and everything else looks okay, but it is still leaving some water in the tub.

A glass shattered in a thousand pieces in the dishwasher. I cleaned and vacuumed everything except the very bottom that I can't get to. I took out 8 screws, removing the round rotator piece at the bottom, but that still doesn't get me into the very bottom where I'm certain there is still glass. Question #1 - Will leaving the glass down there hurt anything? Question #2 - If yes, how do I get the rest of the part off without damaging it? I have a 10+ yr old Model DU920QWDB3 Thank y

The glass should just go down the drain from there. I doubt any piece that made it into there should damage anything as they are would have to be pretty small and as big as any food particle that could fit into there so you should be fine. If you rea ... Whirlpool Dishwashers

- the dishes and glassware on the top rack are not coming out clean - I checked the course strainer to see if it is being blocked but don't see any thing there - I also took out the spray arm that sprays up into the top rack and ran water through it with a hose - it also appears to be free of clogs. - I don't see the spray arm spinning when I open the door during the wash cycle - - lastly, it may be unrelated, but the dishes are not coming out of the washer as hot as they used to be any i
