I have been negligent in not cleaning out the filters and after the unit more or less stopped, I pulled the two filters finding them full of what looked like soap scum. I cleaned them best I could (but noticed the inner filter still had most of the small holes blocked) Started the unit and it cleaned alright for a couple of days. Last night after running a load all the water did not empty from the bottom of the tub? Any suggestion on what wrong? Bought the unit on 1/19/05. Thanks

In assembling my new power washer, I was unable to find where everything went EXCEPT how to attach and use the bottle for the cleaning fluid. The manual is very vague in this area. How do I attach the bottle to the unit for use, and how is the detergent released in the cleaning process? My unit is 15gpm, 1800 psi. thank you

I have a Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III that is 8 years old and recently stopped cleaning top rack dishes. I remember finding a mylar like piece in the bottom of the tub and threw it away thinking it came off of something we washed (I know, bad thinking.) The mylar piece measured roughly 3-4inx2in and was folded in half. Anyways....the upper arm does not spin and the detergent doesnt get fully dispensed so dishes dont get fully cleaned. I am guessing not enough water pressure to upper arm. Wou

I am looking for a manual to remove the bottom sprayer on a Maytag DWC 8240 AAW dishwasher. This is a portable unit that has chipped the crockery since we bought it. Now during only the drying phase there is a grinding noise that sounds like the glass chips are being ground up. There are some screws that I can remove to find what I think is the filter. How do I get to the filter? And where can I find an exploded parts diagram? Thanks

I have a Miele G892 SC dishwasher. When I start the cycle, it drains (except for a bit of water left below the triple filter). After that, the intake valve opens and water enters. It then does nothing for a period of time until the "intake/drain" indicator light starts flashing. When I open the unit, I find about 1/2in of water in the tub (above the tripe filter). I have 1. cleaned the intake valve filter (no blockage found) 2. Inspected the drain line at the base of the unit as well as t

Customer bought house with a Viking Dishwasher already there. He has no user manuals or documentation with the model number listed. None of the stickers on the side of the door have a Viking model number. This unit is a Quiet Clean System with Auto Water Heating and is (he thinks) about two years old. How can I find out what the model # might be or better yet how do I find out the part # to fix the main control board / interface. It just keeps blinking.

My asko 1776 dishwasher seems to be missing the ball bearing assembly for the top rack. my home was rented for a couple years and it is possible that it broke and the tenants just threw out the pieces. i did find one ball bearing on the floor of the unit. if I order the replacment parts, can i install this easily by myself?

My GE Profile Performance dishwasher (GSD 4910) doesn't drain. I hear the pump working, and water draining into the sink (not a disposal) as it should, but water is left standing in the tub about as high as the heating element. I have taken it apart and removed a few small items stuck in the system in various places, but that didn't affect anything. I have read here and there about the piston and nut assembly, but I don't think my model has that -- or maybe it does? Can you affer a

Dishwasher Fault Hi, My dishwasher is a Diplomat ADP8322 (which i think is a rebadged whirlpool unit) & has been playing up recently. When you start a cycle it is fine for a minute or so then it starts beeping, the rinse light comes on & the light next to the start button flashes 11 times, pauses then repeats. I have read online that this flashing relates to what the fault is, but i cannot find out what fault the 11 flashes relate to. The first time this happened i cleaned out all of the filters

I've a Kenmore - Whirlpool dishwasher purchased in 7/2002(665.17574200), which seems clogged. T The ''Accumulator Assembly'' (8268429) filter is clean, and I've stripped the unit down to the plastic components. This has happened once before, and the repair person cleaned some kind of secondary filter, but I can't locate that filter on the parts diagram. Kenmore 665.16762000 We were washing dishes the other night and my husband walked into the kitchen to find water pouring out of the "air gap" in the sink. Now we cant get the unit to come on. Ive tried some of the various combinations of button pushing to re-set, but so far still not operating. I am thinking it may be the "thermal fuse" due to some other questions here, but how can i confirm.... and the biggest question... how much is that gonna cost me to replace if i do it myself?

My dishwasher is leaking where the pump attaches to the bottom of the tub. From looking at the parts diagram, my guess is that thepump connector assembly has gone bad. The diagram is in clear how the connector attaches to the tub --- I don't see any seal or O-ring. Do you know what seals the pump connector assembly to the tub???

We just hooked up our old built in GE dishwasher and the water is shooting out the left side of the unit where the black water hose enters the tub. Shouldn't the water be entering into the wash arm? The hose isn't clogged. It attaches to a white plastic piece that is part of the unit itself. The water is entering both the tub but also shooting out of 2 slits approx 1 1/2" each. located right below where u attach the hose.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Poor drying, mold building up in the tub. The condensing drying system is not working well. I pulled the unit out and removed a panel on the left side (facing washer). Saw that the plastic box that appears to be set up for moist air removal and vents to the tub had considerable mold in it at the top of one of the passage ways. Looked like it might be blocking air flow. Could this be a cause of poor drying? Can this unit be removed and cleaned? Also soap isn't dissolving. Bad board controllin

My Kitchen Aid KUDS01FLSS2 dishwasher does not spray water thru the wash arms nor do they seem to turn. Additionally, one of the the bottom arms hits the "cap, internal rear feed" where it clips to "feed tube assembly" when rotated by hand. The spray arm assembly appears true on visual examination. The unit fills, cycles and pumps out in an apparent normal way. While on this site a while back I was advised to clean the unit and referred to a downloadable repair manual that was, in fact, not
