Having problems with your LG 24 in. LDF7810 Built-in Dishwasher ?

Hi. I have an LG LDF7810 dishwasher. I did a deep clean and ended up taking out a bunch of grease from the seal between the door-bottom and the tub. I even removed the door to get at the grease I thought was trapped back there. Since then it has been leaking water, sometimes a drip and a couple of times a few ounces have gushed out at the end of a fill cycle. Did I remove some factory grease designed to seal the door bottom? If so, what should I replace it with? If not, what else could the

Answers :

It is possible that while you removed off the grease the water seal/oil seal was also damaged. Once the seal is taken out it can loose the sealing strength which can make it possible to leak.
\015\012Hence it will be good to remove the seal and the assembly to clean with diesel or kerosene and installed once again so that there is no trace of dirt accumulating to open the sealing.
\015\012If this wont work the seal/bearing must be changed.
Hello ghouse. That grease was placed there in the factory to stop a leak in the seal that they had detected. Go to the auto parts store and get a tub of white grease and replace what you removed. Joe

My Dishlex Global 450 leaks, I have narrowed it down to the door seal and have replaced this. It appears to overfill during it's operation BUT not evry time? Sometimes it soaks the floor other times no leaks at all. How do you adjust the level the water fills up to during operation?

Mine did the same thing. I cleaned the door seals, mostly the bottom one which collected a lot of grime & didn't provide a solid seal.\015\012\015\012Hope this helps. ... Dishwashers

I have a Maytag DWU8250BAX and the thing leaks like crazy. I just replaced the door gasket, but that is not the problem. When I took a closer look at the door it seems as though the water is getting up and into the door through a space in the bottom of the door. It seems to me like there should be another door seal to fill a gap that sits between the door hinges. If anyone knows if there should be a seal here and then what the part number might be that would be great. Thanks!

Hi _ We have a Stoves DW616 dishwasher which has started leaking water on filling from around the front door. The BGas engineer replaced the seals around the door with those from a Hygena which he said were the same and it worked fine for a few days and then a further deluge. He has now said there is a seal at the base of the door (just about invisible) and although he got a further Hygena seal this would not fit and he says that as it's obsolete the machine should be written off. Door leak The dishwasher is 2 and half year old and is randomly leaking for at least one year or even more. The leak originally occurred at both lower ends of the door, close to the hinges. The leak was about one liter and the door panel sound insulation soaked with water. After door panel was removed, the leak location was identified at both ends of the lower door gasket. The outside part of the U-shaped gasket was filled with water, and eventually water was spilled on the floor. The leak can g

I have a Bosch SGS43A22 Dishwasher approx 8 years old. When I start a cycle it fills, runs for about 15 minutes, then drops out about a litre of water from the bottom of the door, then completes the cycle without any more leaking. I have run the machine with the front panel off and can see that water bypasses the top of the seal and fills the well of the seal then pours out. It only happens the once. The seal is fitted correctly. Any solutions?

I have a Neff built-in dishwasher and sometimes there is a heavy leakage of water from the front right-hand side. The unit is 3-years old and there is a build up of scale around the rubber seals. The long seal at the bottom of the door seems to have receded slightly behind the metal panel on the inside of the front door. Is the seal easy to replace ?

My Zanussi DS17 slimline dishwasher is leaking from below the door at the front. The inside seals all seem to be fine, but the catchment moulding below the door (which is revealed at the front when the door is opened) is filling up with water, and then overflowing. I can't see where the water is comming from, but it is definitely the water from the washing cycle as it's hot. Any ideas? I haven't dragged the maching out from the wall yet, but I may have to. Kenmore dishwasher. The upper rack is not getting clean. Even very light residue remains. And, detergent is left in door at end of cycle. The bottom is filling up, so I don't think it's the intake valve. Also, all the blade openings appear clear. I am noticing that hot water is not filling the dishwasher when I first run the cycle. Even if I have hot water running in the sink, the dishwasher fills with cold or warm water. So, I think this is the problem. What should I do? Thank you in advance!

I find it odd that the dishwasher is filling with cold water if the water is hot at the sink. It sounds like the dishwasher is connected to the cold water line rather than the hot. Check under your sink; if you've got standard plumbing, the dishwas ... Dishwashers
