Cloudy glasses with hard white calcium build-up

\015 I have well water and a soft water system. I use Shaklee dishwasher detergent which us a very small amount of product per load. Since the cloudiness, I have added a citric product to assist in cleaning the dishes. \015\012\015\012My dishwasher is an LG model with stainless interior. The interior doesn't have any build-up, just the glasses. Also, knves have had rust spots. \015\012\015\012Any suggestions?\015\012\015\012Claudia\015

The problem is not your dishwasher or your detergent. the reason for these spots is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com makes a new product to address and fix this problem. it filters the water going into your dishwasher leaving your dishes spot free with every load. it is very affordable and fits right under your sink. it is guaranteed to work or your money back. you will love this product. thanks
Ok, this may sound crazy, but humor me OK?\015\012
\015\012- Either find a neighbor to get some from or buy a box of Electrosol or Cascade powder. While you are testing, don't use the citric product. Do at least three loads of dirty dishes and evaluate after.\015\012
\015\012- The second most common problem is the failure of the heating element. But, the LG LDF7811should give an error code if it fails. But check it out. The dishwasher should be very hot as soon as the the final rinse cycle is complete and it does the final drain. For this test, use the Sani-cycle/ 160 degree rinse. Note that all LG LDF model dishwashers do NOT turn on the heating element after the final rinse/drain.\015\012
\015\012If it is just moderately hot, the heating element is not working properly.\015\012
\015\012Finally, I recommend that you get a water hardness test done using the tap water from the same sink that the dishwasher is connected to. When dishwashers fail, it is not always obvious. I believe Sears still offers a water test kit.\015\012
\015\012Good Luck. Please report back what you find. OK?
