Smeg Dishwasher DWD 63.1 SS, not heating; I have Smeg dishwasher that is sticking in its cycle (wash phase), water was cold, so I assumed the element had failed (or tank termostat), so I have replaced both element and tank thermostat in turn. No change, water still cold and dishwasher sticks in the wash cycle. Any ideas? (Note, no diagnostic leds on this model)

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

I have a 2 year old Electrolux ESL 63010 dishwasher, and it worked perfect until a few days ago, when it did not wash cleanly and the dishes came out cold. I read a few forums and it seemed to indicate the heating element. So I ordered one a fitted it, but still the water is not getting hot, or drying the dishes after the complete cycle. I have done a visual check of the PCB board, which looks clean and good. No error sounds, and it completes all programs, but with cold water and no drying. W

Maytag dishwasher #33323190JG Many of the dishes come out with a white-ish coating. I usually end up using an SOS pad to scrub it off. Three weeks ago a repair man replaced the heating element due to the recall but that didn't help it. He suggested trying "Dishwasher Magic." I've used Dishwasher Magic a couple of times within the last two weeks but the problem remains

Hi silverdragon, re the dishlex 302 not heating or drying Have replaced heating element but unfortunately still cold. If the control panel has not shorted which it hadn't before, do you have any suggestions. My hubby would rather wait before buying a new dishwasher, but I don't want to throw good money after bad. I have a GE Profile Dishwasher, Model# PDW7880J03SS that doesnt dry the dishes. I pulled out the dishwasher and checked the heating element for continuity with my ohm meter and got a closed circuit reading. Powdery residue on some dishes, will not wash off. Repairman said it was due to warter temp, but have tries heat & Anti bacteria and still persists.
