Having problems with your LG Dishwashers ?

My lg dishwasher trips the GFCI outlet on about 1 in 3 runs. I can usually reset it and it will run to the end, but it is aggravating to say the least and I worry that it may indicate a short.

Answers :

Replace the GFCI, it may be defective. If that doesn't correct the problem, there may not be anything that you can do; GFCI monitors the current that passes from the hot to the neutral wire, and trips when the amperage is unbalanced. GFCI tripping may not indicate a problem with the machine
It is very possible that the problem is the GFI. Depending upon how old it is, they actually do go bad. If it was me, I would simply replace the GFI for around $10.00. Just make sure you shut the breaker off before replacing the GFI so you do not get zapped. Also make sure you take note of how the wires come off of the GFI. Depending upon if the GFI is feeding any other plugs you may have to take note which wires are on the line side and which wires are on the load side. It is actually pretty easy to change out though.

I have an Ariston LS245 dishwasher, have just had the pump replaced, as it had shorted out, due to water in the bottom tray where the water detection float is, also a new drain hose fitted. Have just run a wash and after running a while, presumably to the end of the rinse, wash and dry cycle, then one of the cycle phase lights, the one for 'soak' blinks constantly. I switched the machine off and had a look to see if a wash had been done, the dishes look clean. In the book it says that if one

Bosch SHE55P05UC Used it maybe 10 times in 10 months (long remodel underway) and noticed it didn't work properly. Powers up, but doesn't always fill with water...just "runs" until I shut it off. Or it fills, runs most of cycle, but the soap doesn't open, and I end up with a hard soap "cake" at end of cycle...Or it washes..with soap, but during drying...never turns off...and I'm not sure when the problem occurs, but that everything is wet. Hello I hope someone can help me. I have a Siemens Hydrosensor Dishwasher that when I start it up in runs for a while and shuts off. I need to open and close the door several times then it may run for a short while, 15 seconds to a couple minutes and then shut down again. Finally, it will run through the rest of the cycle. The issue generally occurs when the digital timer is between 85 and 78. If I just leave it go once it shuts down it does eventually start up and will complete the washing cycl

Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model# KUDP01FLSS. 2 problems #1 Won't run unless you press in on the door and hold it for a few minutes then it runs through cycle normally. Problem #2 It won't drain water out at the end of the cycle when I open the door there is water laying in the bottom of the tub. I have checked the drain hose for clogging and it appears normal. I have a kitchen aid dishwasher model number KUD101TJBLO. I have had the thermal fuse replaced numerous times. It may run two weeks ir it may rub two cycles then the fuse blows. My serviceman has given up on finding a solution. He has replaced the control board and the door switch. However it continues blowing the fuse. I read on the internet that you need to replace the entire wiring kit that comes with the fuse but my repairman says this will not fix the problem and refused to replace the kit.

Bosch Dishwasher has started acting upo. If I turn on the dishwasher it runs the pump for approx 2 seconds then cuts out. This carries on the cycle spraying the soapy suds around the compartment but there is no running pump sound. Any idea how I can access the pump to either attempt to clean it out or to replace it? Or does this indicate another fault that may need attention. Any idea of the cost of parts UK. Thanks for assistance ****

I have a Samsung dishwasher and a code comes up that says that there is a low-level water function problem. The solution in the manual says to run it empty to clean it. I suspect that the water level chamber may have food deposits in it causing the low-level sensor to misfunction. Where is the water level chamber and how do I clean it?

Hi. I have a Siemens SE65E331GB Built in Dishwasher with an aquastop system. The problem is that it seems to be stuck at the end of a cycle. The pump is constantly running when stitched on. I won't top after a reset and it continues to run even if you open the door. The water supply light also comes on indicating that there is no water getting to the machine. I have tried resetting the aquastop as per the advice in other threads. This has helped in that the water supply light now stays

Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher model number 665.1374 or 665.1384 I am a technician. This unit does nothing. It has power and ground. I have tested the door switches. They test good. If I unplug the unit and plug it back in then it will run a drain cycle, at least that is what I think it is doing. The motor runs for about 4 minutes. Once it shuts off, there is no further response. No control indicators illuminate. No response from pushing any of the touch buttons.

I have a Craftsman 2700 psi pressure washer with a Briggs and Stratton 850 engine (80 year anniversary special addition) . It is about 2 years old and used very little and will not start. Only the rinse cycle works, so I rinse many times - last rinse with detergent and then run the short program which does not wash, but will dry the dishes. I have a Whirlpool ADG937 dishwasher (9 years old) which will not complete a 65c wash cycle. It starts Ok and runs for a long time but then continually bleeps, when I open the door the programme indicator light is on the rinse cycle.
