I've bought replacement ball bearings and ball bearing holders and have the holders back into the guide rails but can't physically replace guide rails with holders into the runners. Is there a trick to this?

Hello,\015\012\015\012Yes there is a trick to installing new bearing & holders. Here's what works for me, remove the rack stops if you haven't already and then the rack itself. With the rack out of the way, remove the bumpers at the back of the rails ... Asko D1876 Dishwasher

We have a Sears Ultra Wash III dishwasher, model 665.1677993, bought in October, 1995. It is not filling with enough water to get the dishes clean. I took the water valve out and looked at it and it seems okay. It doesn't look like the valve is opening all the way - just my guess. A small stream of water comes out with good pressure, but it is a small stream. I can't find any screens or filters in the water line coming in. The fill cycle lasts only about a minute. Is that adequate? Steve

There should be another letter after the p in your model number. If it's just a B then there are no parts available for that model. Typically a dishwasher will fill for 90 seconds or more. One minute or less sounds like you have a control board is ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

Sears dishwasher 665.15882000 part #8268296 fell off and I can't find the "screw" that holds it in place...probably went down the drain. Now dishes do not "dry" on air dry. The part that matches the number for replacement parts does not look at all like the one that fell off. The one I have is round and the replacement one showing looks like some funky ninja weapon. Will this work on my machine? How easy is it to replace this part?

I have a Bosch dishwasher, model SHU9915UC/U11. The spring mechanism on the detergent door cracked, and I bought the part to replace it. I took the front cover off of the dishwasher to determine how to replace it. Two white plastic "things", maybe spacers, fell out. I need 2 things: a) how to gain access to the spring on the detergent door so that I can replace it, and b) how to put the door spacers back on. An exploded parts view would probably help a great deal. Michael J. Orr

The washer is not cleaning properly, I found that the lower spray arm is fairly floppy and will tip enough to hit the element. I put a new spry arm on a couple of months ago but did not replace the cap. Do you think there would be enough wear on the bottom of the cap to cause a problem? Thanks - Bill G.

I bought a new lg ldf6810bb/01 when re-doing the kitchen. After about a year, the dishes quit drying. Since we had bought an extended warranty, we have had several repairmen out to check on this. The did change the fan in the door, but now says everything is working as should. However, it still wont dry the dishes. We finally got in touch with the distric manager for best buy where we originally purchased, and after some more reps coming out, finally replaced the dishwasher. However, t

Dishwasher leaking We bought our dishwasher in Sep/07, it was fine for a year, then started leaking out the bottom of the door on the left. We had the seal on the door replaced (didn't work) and then the door gasket replaced. That worked for less than a year, now it is leaking again in the same place. What could be going on? Have already put $400.00 repairs into this machine and am reluctant to put more money in to have it break again the same way. What do you suggest?

Hello! I just ordered a new facia panel for our Bosch dishwasher SHU9955UC/U12. It seems like it should be fairly easy to replace it (meaning, myself...). Is it really just a question of unscrewing the screws on the inside of the door, removing the old panel and then replacing the new one? Are there any especially delicate inside mechanisms/parts That should be protected? Many thanks.

Blowing fuse... We've replaced the overheating fuse located in the control board area about 5 times. It has just blown again after using the dishwaser one time--before it would go about a month before blowing the fuse. It seems to get about a few minutes away from completing the wash cycle and does not complete the draining process. Help!! We don't know what to do next--replacing the fuse is costing about $15 each time, before you know it we could have bought a new one! Thanks for the help. Ti

Tim, this blown fuse issue was pretty common on this model. Whirlpool, which made this model came out with a fuse kit that included a terminal and heavier guage wire to eliminate this problem. It just splices right into the control board, easy job. T ... Kenmore 17024 Built-in Dishwasher

I have a Generac pressure washer, model #01450-0, with a Honda 5hp motor. The motor runs fine, but the pressure hose pulsates as if the pump is intermittently making pressure, and the pressure out of the sprayer is about half of what it should be. A friend suggested replacing the seals in the unloader. I bought an unloader kit, replaced everything and it still runs the same. It will build a small amount of pressure, spray for a few seconds, then the pressure dropps to almost nothing. Any help ap

I just bought a used Kenmore standalone dishwasher and ran it for the first time. The dishes on the top did not get clean and the soap did not come out of the closed soup dish. at one point I took a shower and was wondering if that might have influenced the water pressure enough to cause the problem. Is the soap supposed to open during the wash and could the poor water pressure prevent the top shelf from getting properly washed?
