Having problems with your LG Dishwashers ?

My LG dishwasher is leaking out of the vent that is right underneath the door. What could be causing this?

Answers :

The most common thing that causes this issue is the door seal. Make sure the dishwashers door seal is properly in position. If so check the water level of the unit, if it overfill this will happen as well.\015\012

Leaking This is a problem that I have when the dishwasher is in drying mode. I will find a 5X5 and sometimes smaller, size water spot under the dishwasher after the dishwasher has stopped. I was told it was the vent were the steam comes out and I had that replaced. It still leaks, then they told me to replace the rubber around the door, still leaks now they order a whole new plastic interior door. Please if you have any ideas what could be causing the problem, please let me know. Thank you

Dishwasher leak I have a General Electric Potscrubber Mobile Maid dishwasher (model GSC720?) that hasn't been used in some time, but appears to still work OK. It has a leak from the left hand vent opening in the bottom of the door when operating. The seal around the door appears intact and doesn't leak. Can you suggest a probable cause, and remedy? Thanks, Bob.

With dishwasher empty and disconnected, find the screws around the area of the "vent",you may need to open it from the bottom. There will be a hose that has either ruptured or just needs the clamp tightened with a screw driver. I think that the hose ... Dishwashers

Door leak I have a small leak between the bottom of the dishwasher door the lower service panel on the dishwashere. Our Phillips SL2000 dishwasher (~20 years old?) has a leak from the door right hand bottom end when its splashing. The seals appear to be OK to touch and slightly pressing the door inwards does not reduce the leak. What could be the reason and is it worth repairing? I have a Maytag MDB7600AWB dish washer. I have a door leak, dripping from the right side. I can not see anything that would allow it. It seems like it could be coming from the inside of the door. Also, there is heat and condensation on at the top of the door, above the leak. It could be that steam is coming from the top right and dripping down the door. Could you give me some idea about fixing the problem.

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher model KUDS01FLSS2. Dishwasher leaking We bought our dishwasher in Sep/07, it was fine for a year, then started leaking out the bottom of the door on the left. We had the seal on the door replaced (didn't work) and then the door gasket replaced. That worked for less than a year, now it is leaking again in the same place. What could be going on? I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.
