Having problems with your LG LDF6810 Built-in Dishwasher ?

Dishwasher I am getting a run around with getting my LG dishwasher fixed properly. We had a tech more than once come in and look at our dishwasher. It has not been fixed and never dried the dishes properly. It is now leaking and going to a "del" level when we attempt to wash the dishes. It is also leaking on our fairly new tiled floor and under our new kitchen cabinet. Your tech stated the dishwasher was not installed properly. The installation dept , Francine stated it is not their problem

Not sure what you mean by a "del" level, but as far a drying issues:
\015\012
\015\012LG chose to use a very energy efficient drying method which relies on the residual heat of the dishes to help dry them rather than many manufacturers who use a heating element. For this reason, plastic items (which do not retain heat as well as china, glass, or metal) will not dry as well. Also, with LG dishwashers it is especially important to use a rinse aid, such as Jet Dry, to reduce water surface tension, allowing water to sheet off the dishes. Of course with any dishwasher, it is also important to have soft water, but make sure to use a small amount of dishwasher detergent. Too much detergent can cause excessive suds, which may contribute to water leakage.

WE MOVED IN OUR HOME 17 YEARS AGO. THE GE POT SCRUBBER DISHWASHER HAS ALWAYS WORKED VERY WELL. RECENTLY IT STARTED TO LEAK UPON USE. FIRST OUT OF THE BOTTOM IN FRONT, ALL OVER MY FLOOR AND THEN IT STARTED TO LEAK THROUGH THE FLOOR AND I CAN SEE IT DRIPPING FROM THE CEILING IN OUR BASEMENT ? SHOULD WE GET IT FIXED OR WOULD THAT BE TOO EXPENSIVE?

My DD603 was leaking (both top and bottom) and I went to this web site and the person recommended changing the Lid Actuators which stopped the leaking for about one month. Now each time I run the dishwasher I get about 1-2 quarts of water on the floor. After reading the number of dissatisfied customers should I just buy a new dishwasher or keep chasing the all the problems associated with the DD-603?

In my honest opinion I would just buy a new one. I would say the same thing to change the lid actuators agian. Iam sure it would stop like before and then return later. It may be more cost effective time wise to just replace the unit. Sorry bbest of ... Fisher and Paykel 23 in. DD-603SS Built-in Dishwasher

Model 587784100 My 18inch Kenmore apartment-sized portable dishwasher leaks when running and needs a new main rubber gasket (where the door seals the washer), and a new collar of some sort of white hard plastic collar at the very bottom of the spinning washer arm (which I believe helps make it spin more freely and not "chatter"?) My question is: Is it possible foe a handy person to replace these parts (looks fairly easy), or should I get a proper Kenmore/Sears repairman to fix it?

If you think you can do it then do it. it is normally not any harder than it looks. now because i work there i would say call them :) but you can change those parts fairly easily ... Kenmore Dishwashers

Our KitchenAid KUDS011JBS1 dishwasher sometimes leaks water on our kitchen floor. It seems to drip from the bottom edge of the door onto the floor. It's not a huge amount of water, but is enough to be a concern... it leaves a small puddle on the floor. What should I check and how do I fix this? I'm hoping it's an inexpensive and easy fix. Note that we've had this dishwasher for 8 years and have only noticed leaking during the past 6 months.

I have a brand new Blanco dishwasher but im unsure if it is a DWF6XP, DWF4X or DWIN7 model. It does not have a salt dispenser if that helps. Last night when running for the first time i had a plumbing issue where the drain pipe was not set high enough as it states it has to be 500 to 100cm of ground height. Also had a leaking sink drain pipe. Fixed all that and turned machine back on and it pumped all the water that was inside to drain. I have cancelled the program and restarted but now it is ru

Leaky Dishwasher I recently moved into a new house that has a brand new Magic Chef dishwasher. We haven't even had a chance to use it, but last night discovered water leaking from the bottom onto the floor. When I opened the door, there was about 3-4 inches of water inside. I baled as much of the (slimey) water out as I could, and that stopped the leak. Now afraid to run the dishwasher for fear that it might leak even worse. E71195 Type 777-0

Hi, I have a Hoover silent whisper HD98E dishwasher and it's leaking. I know where the leak comes from. Once the machine is on, it pumps the water through the salt container and through these 3 pronged blue container (located on the side). One of these prongs leaks. I believe it is the washer. Can you tell me where I can buy a new washer? Are they specific to Hoover dishwashers or can I get them from Plumbcenter? A quick answer would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I turned the dishwasher off at the power point and have cleaned up the leak. Have I damaged my dish washer? How do I fix it?

Have a Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (66513123K701). Was not cleaning dishes very well so we ran diagnostics on it and found a problem with the diverter motor (W10155344) so we replaced it. Now, the dishwasher is leaking from the diverter. There was a o-ring from the original diverter that we had to keep since the new motor did not come with it. Wondering if we should get a new o-ring/seal, but I cannot find mention of such a part anywhere. Is there a certain way to seat the o-ring? Is it ok to

10 year old Kenmore Ultra is leaking early in the washing cycle. Wondering if this is worth fixing or need to bite the wallet and buying a new one.
