Having problems with your LG LDF6810ST Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher ?

LG Dishwasher I just purchase a new LG Dishwasher. The installer told me that the dishwasher can not be flush to the Kitchen cabinets because of the metal cases around the dishwasher and also it can not be aligned with the top and bottom of the cabinets because the door is too thick to give it clearance to open. I have had two other dishwashers in this spot and never had any issue. Thoughts? Thanks, Jen

Answers :

I can't say for sure, but it is possible this unit is deeper than previous units. The only way to tell for sure is to measure the previous unit and compare to this one.

I would be suspect there may be something simple preventing the dishwasher from going all the way back into the cavity of the cabinets. Maybe the water line is in the way, the power plug, etc. are in the way. You would have to pull the dishwasher out and look it all over to determine if his comments are true or not.

I have a Fisher and Paykel drawer dishwasher and I'm wondering if there's a way to put a panel on it to make it look like and integrated dishwasher. It would need some way of the panel moving to start the dishwasher because the controls are located on the front. I plan on putting it in an Ikea Akurum that is 24" deep. The dishwasher is 22-9/10 deep, so that looks like it would leave some space for the dishwasher to sit back in the cabinet so the door panel could be flush with the cabinet. I'm no

Screw drop Hi I was installing my new LG dishwasher and I droped a screw in the hole in the side panel where you can put a screw to connect to the side of your cabinet. There is a small plastic cover which I removed where you can screw a screw into the cabinet. However the head of my screw was too small and fell in the side panel. I can not get the screw out or see it now although I know it is in the dishwasher. Is there anyway of getting it out or will this cause a problem? Since it is in t

I just purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher model #KUDS30FXSS. My contractor is now installing the cabinets and brought to my attention that the venting on this dishwasher (which is in the front on the left hand side) has been known to warp cabinets. This does make sense to me considering that you are exhausting steam onto wood. Has anyone else heard of this happening or is there a fix for it?

I have a Candy CD650 dishwasher which is not washing properly. Basically, the detergent tablets seem to be getting stuck in the tray. Most times I open the door, the tablet is a pile of mush inside the tray. Other times it is on the bottom of the dishwasher - again a pile of mush! Sometimes, it starts the program & sounds like it's about to start a wash cycle, but then gives up! it gives one short woosh, the stops again. Any ideas how to fix this? I don't have a manual so can't look there.

Dishwasher I am getting a run around with getting my LG dishwasher fixed properly. We had a tech more than once come in and look at our dishwasher. It has not been fixed and never dried the dishes properly. It is now leaking and going to a "del" level when we attempt to wash the dishes. It is also leaking on our fairly new tiled floor and under our new kitchen cabinet. Your tech stated the dishwasher was not installed properly. The installation dept , Francine stated it is not their problem

E3 Error Hi My dishwasher is showing error E3, which the user manual states "The appliance is not able to pump out the water.", however, other E3 error states a heating issue. The dishwasher does in fact heat the water but generates the E3 error after 10 minutes or so, then pumps out the water from the dishwasher. I'm a little confused as to what the issue is here and what part I would need to rectify the problem. Any advise you could give would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards

If I really have to I will cut the two hoses that comes from the dishwasher to the faucet, but I would rather have an extension first.

You should be able to find extension or replacement hoses that you can use to extend the existing hoses at a hardware store. If you need to join two hoses that have female connectors, adaptors with two male connections are available. ... Dishwashers
