Having problems with your LG LDF6810ST Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher ?
I have an LG LDF6810ST dishwasher that has a leak on the bottom right hand side of the door. It appears to be leaking from inside the door itself.
The dishwasher is 2 years old. I checked the inlet water to make sure connections were not leaking and they were not.
I live in a rural part of Alaska so after talking with the LG help desk I'm pretty much on my own. Any ideas?
Here is a tip that I wrote about dishwashers and them leaking.

Door leak The dishwasher is 2 and half year old and is randomly leaking for at least one year or even more. The leak originally occurred at both lower ends of the door, close to the hinges. The leak was about one liter and the door panel sound insulation soaked with water. After door panel was removed, the leak location was identified at both ends of the lower door gasket. The outside part of the U-shaped gasket was filled with water, and eventually water was spilled on the floor. The leak can g

Water leak have the Ge triton dishwasher (Model # GSD5320D02BB, bought it n 2001) and currently have very small amount of water leaking out of the door during a run cycle. I did check levels when running and that seems to be fine......meaning the dishwasher is level and not an over-flow problem. My next thought is maybe it is a faulty door gasket. So my question is, where is the door gasket located and how do I replace it? (and where do I order this part from?). Looked for diagrams to follow and

Door leak I have a small leak between the bottom of the dishwasher door the lower service panel on the dishwashere. I did replace the seal on the inside bottom of the door along with the other parts that come with the door seal. Could there be a gasket leak around the detergent dispenser or the vent at the top of the inside of the door. I did not check the water lever as was mentioned in a previous question on water level, but the float does move up and down quite freely. Any suggestions as to w

I had my dishwasher installed in December. Thought it was leaking but couldn't catch it in action since it didn't start in the early part of the cycle. This is a new kitchen and I have not installed a sink or countertops because I want the leaks to stop first.

Hi, We have a Frigidaire dishwasher machine 1500 series with fully electronic control. It is a new unit, has been installed nearly 4 months ago. The other day, when I went to take the dishes out of it, I notice that the rubber gasket that seals the door had come off somehow. Along with it I saw, sitting on the bottom, two pieces that looked like part of the seal, but I didn't know where they came from. I put the rubber gasket back on, but now the pieces and now the dishwasher will leak when runn

Model 587784100 My 18inch Kenmore apartment-sized portable dishwasher leaks when running and needs a new main rubber gasket (where the door seals the washer), and a new collar of some sort of white hard plastic collar at the very bottom of the spinning washer arm (which I believe helps make it spin more freely and not "chatter"?) My question is: Is it possible foe a handy person to replace these parts (looks fairly easy), or should I get a proper Kenmore/Sears repairman to fix it?

I have a Bosch SHU8805UC/14 dishwasher. I took the front door panel off to install it better but ended up with two extra pieces that look like either part 935400 Door Guard, or 935526 Support. Leaking This is a problem that I have when the dishwasher is in drying mode. I will find a 5X5 and sometimes smaller, size water spot under the dishwasher after the dishwasher has stopped. I was told it was the vent were the steam comes out and I had that replaced. My dishwasher leaks water from the top of my sink when in the drain cycle mode causing a mess on the counter top. How do I stop this leak? The plastic cover to the part which is located next to the faucet is cracked but there appears to be no leaks on the hose or on the part itself. Also, what is the purpose of this part? Is this the actual drain for the dishwasher and if so, why doesn't it tie directly into the drain?

Dishwasher leaking We bought our dishwasher in Sep/07, it was fine for a year, then started leaking out the bottom of the door on the left. We had the seal on the door replaced (didn't work) and then the door gasket replaced. That worked for less than a year, now it is leaking again in the same place. What could be going on? Have already put $400.00 repairs into this machine and am reluctant to put more money in to have it break again the same way. What do you suggest?

Hey Everyone! Ok try this one! I have been working on a KUDS25 Kitchenaid Dishwasher. It was leaking like a siv from the bottom. I replaced both top and bottom plastic bearings and also tightend all the screws at the bottom. Leak Gone, I thought. It now has small leaks down both sides. I have since been told by the owner that he took the door apart himself. I pulled out the dishwasher from the cabinet and ran it. I could see the leaks at the top on both sides of the door latch. I noticed water leaking underneath my dishwasher through the floor joists to my basement. It was a small but steady drip through the joists. I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.

I have a Bosch dishwasher, model SHU9915UC/U11. The spring mechanism on the detergent door cracked, and I bought the part to replace it. I took the front cover off of the dishwasher to determine how to replace it. Two white plastic "things", maybe spacers, fell out. I need 2 things: a) how to gain access to the spring on the detergent door so that I can replace it, and b) how to put the door spacers back on. Dishwasher leak I have a General Electric Potscrubber Mobile Maid dishwasher (model GSC720?) that hasn't been used in some time, but appears to still work OK.
