Having problems with your Magic Chef 24 in. DC4000 Free-standing Dishwasher ?

Leaky Dishwasher I recently moved into a new house that has a brand new Magic Chef dishwasher. We haven't even had a chance to use it, but last night discovered water leaking from the bottom onto the floor. When I opened the door, there was about 3-4 inches of water inside. I baled as much of the (slimey) water out as I could, and that stopped the leak. Now afraid to run the dishwasher for fear that it might leak even worse. E71195 Type 777-0

My zanussi fitted dishwasher is leaking water through the door. removed front panel to see what is going on and the water is spurting out of two gaps in the seal. the seal is brand new and manufactured with these gaps. is there too much water in the dishwasher - does it have float valve that could be at fault?

Hi, I have a Hoover silent whisper HD98E dishwasher and it's leaking. I know where the leak comes from. Once the machine is on, it pumps the water through the salt container and through these 3 pronged blue container (located on the side). One of these prongs leaks. I believe it is the washer. Can you tell me where I can buy a new washer? Are they specific to Hoover dishwashers or can I get them from Plumbcenter? A quick answer would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Water not going into dishwasher. We turned off the water temporarily because we first had a leak. Fixed the leak and tried the dishwasher. It would not drain, the garbage disposer was clogged. We put in a new garbage disposer, hooked up the water again to the dishwasher and now the water will not go into dishwasher. Help!

Door leak The dishwasher is 2 and half year old and is randomly leaking for at least one year or even more. The leak originally occurred at both lower ends of the door, close to the hinges. The leak was about one liter and the door panel sound insulation soaked with water. After door panel was removed, the leak location was identified at both ends of the lower door gasket. The outside part of the U-shaped gasket was filled with water, and eventually water was spilled on the floor. The leak can g

I just had a Haus slimline dishwasher delivered and have tried to set it up. I have followed the instructions to the letter but the water inlet hose keeps leaking out water when you move the dishwasher into place after attaching the hoses. I have tried the manufacturer's hose they provided and two spare i have in my cupboard. I even went out and bought some 3/4" washers and added extra washers to the inlet hose, but it still leaks. What is wrong?

Leaking This is a problem that I have when the dishwasher is in drying mode. I will find a 5X5 and sometimes smaller, size water spot under the dishwasher after the dishwasher has stopped. I was told it was the vent were the steam comes out and I had that replaced. It still leaks, then they told me to replace the rubber around the door, still leaks now they order a whole new plastic interior door. Please if you have any ideas what could be causing the problem, please let me know. Thank you

Dishwasher Leaking Dishwasher leaks from underneath the right front side of appliance. Can't tell exactly where it's leaking from, because of plastic guard/support on underside. All of the connections and hoses are in good shape. I'm assuming that it has something to do with the draining process, as it will leak 2-3 times during a wash cycle. Sometimes it's very little water and sometimes it's as much as a gallon.

BF41 Dishwasher with a leak stuck in mid cycle Hi, I have a 'general domestic Appliance Ltd' BF41 (95+G709394) dishwasher which recently started leaking at the door. After replacing the seal the problem seemed to ease, then recently the problem started all over again and the leaking got worse. A couple of day ago I couldn't stop it leaking and now it's stuck in mid cycle and even though the water is washing inside the machine it never gets hot inside or finishes the cycle. Run on the normal cycle the dishes come out smelling "fishy". I refill the jet dry every 2 weeks--it always seems empty and I know that's not normal for dishwasher use. Even the empty dishwasher has a "smell". Our water is excellent for drinking--it is not well water and has no odor. Please advise before I have to buy a new dishwasher. Water Leak My dishwasher is an Ariston Advantage AF250: I have been told that internally its the same as a Hotpoint DF55. It intermittently leaks water onto the floor from the front at its base during use. At one time it ruined the motor which I had rewound and at the same time I made a new polystyrene float for the base pan overflow switch. All was well for months, but now its leaking again. I have blown through the tubes from the drain filter well to the pressure sensitive switch, but all

I have a bosch dishwasher SHE43C06UC22 (non-LED version). It's stuck in the drain cycle and continues to run even when opening the door (it should stop, but it doesn't). As a test, I poured a large glass of water in the bottom of the dishwasher and it drained it into the sink as it should, but it continues to run in the drain mode with no water in it. I've heard I either have a float stuck or an emergency drain switch or leak somewhere causing the dishwasher to continue in the drain mode. Ho

Loud humming when the water enters the dishwasher. The copper pipe vibrates. The dishwasher is approximately 11 years old. Problem slowly getting worse over time. I tried to tie down the copper pipe in the basement to no avail. When I closed the right angle stop valve and reopened, the problem got much worse and won't go away even if I grab the pipe. Only happens when water enters the dishwasher.

I have an LG LDF6810ST dishwasher that has a leak on the bottom right hand side of the door. It appears to be leaking from inside the door itself. The dishwasher is 2 years old. Now each time I run the dishwasher I get about 1-2 quarts of water on the floor.
