The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. First Check to see if the valve is getting water. Make sure it’s not clogged. There is a screen on the inside of the valve, this sometimes gets clogged up with debris. Check to see if you get power to valve when unit is put into operation may take a couple minutes to start a fill. If you have power and it’s not clogged up replace the valve .If you have no power to the water inlet valve check float switch. This can be done by checking the continuity. There is a video of this at http://appliancehelponline.com/dishfloatwaterinletvideo.html this will walk you checking the water inlet valve and the float switch. It may be a different model but the testing procedure will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations for most models. All parts come with installation instructions.

Dishwasher cycles with timer, won't fill with water. Motor runs fine, drain and fill valves test fine, float switch tests fine too. Water pressure fine. I'm thinking the timer is bad and won't send a signal to the water valve to open. What do you think? The system here doesn't know what a GSD2030F00WW is, so I had to pic one with a computer board, mine is not that sophisticated.

I have a 2 drawer system - the bottom one is working fine. The top one does not turn off the water, so water keeps flowing into the unit and ultimately creates an overflow and flood condition.

Water seems to be leaking into the dishwasher at the end of the cycle the water appears to be clean, so I am wondering about a seal of some kind on the hot water line leaking or whatever. It is a Bosch Dishwasher SHU series 3200 My problem is the same. Water leaks in to bottom of dishwasher over about a 2-3 day period. The dishwasher runs fine. It does not ever run over. The water seems to stop entering the dishwasher after it reaches a certain level.

Bosch slimline dishwasher SRS560. Unit has had this fault for a while, now going a bit mouldy so keen to repair it. Displays following Symptoms 1) Firstly empty motor drains water. Our dishwasher was taking in water, circulating it but not heating it up or moving through the cycle. My husband took the control panel off and there were some scorch marks on it so we got a new one. We have a built in GE dishwasher. It has worked fine for about 4 years but now the glasses in the top rack will not come clean. I have cleaned all the holes where the water comes out but I think the sprayer that is beneath the top rack (the one that is attached to the bottom of the top rack) is not rotating. We had someone out to take a look at it and they said it was fine. It isn't fine as it is not cleaning the dishes. Is there a reason that the bottom sprayer is not turning?

Lately the soap remains in the dispenser, dried and caked in (I have to dig it out with a sharp object, as it becomes a solid piece). I have also tried gel soaps, but find them in the bottom of the dishwasher, partially intact. The mistery is this does not happen all the time, but most of the time! I've checked the water pressure and the water temperature: both seem to be fine. The dishwasher does run a full cycle. Is it time to buy a new one?
