I have the GLD 4560 NSS and it is no longer draining. The tub stays completely full. When you start it, the water in the tub is reused then it does not drain. No noise or anything when the draining or filling should actually be taking place. Hoses are not kinked, no leaks, no air vent, it drains directly to the disposal. Everything seems OK but it is full of water. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bad smell This is more of a general question. When I run the dishwasher there is a bad smell as it fills with water. It comes out of the sink/garbage disposal. I have cleaned out the line that comes from the garbage disposal to the drain and that doesn't stop the smell. Is there a line that needs to be cleaned from the dishwasher to the sink or how can I fix this issue? My dishwasher, at the drain, has water standing and it smells. I think it is there from condensation as the dishwasher, unknow

Water problem Hi, I have a Jenn air DW 711 that does not get water. I checked the following: Water line: I unhooked the water line and it is clear & free flowing. Bosch Integra SHU 9955US/12 - when we start wash cycle, the detergent dispenses and the tub fills with water, but the wash cycle never starts (never spins spray bars). In between wash cycles, water seems to back up into the dishwasher. I had a plumber take a look at the drain and disposal in the kitchen sink to see if there was an issue there. He suggested to have appliance repair tech to come look and indicated that he believed that the issue may be the "cylianoid" valve. Does the this valve prevent water from backing up into the dishwasher after it has drained?

Maytag Dishwasher I would like to know the proper water level after DW fills. Older Whirlpool units a quick guide was when water just covered heater. I have a new D/W and the water supply is difficult to access, there is a kink in the water line slowing the water flow. The D/W fills to bottom of heater, but because the unit is so quiet I can't determine if it is timing out or working properly. I intend to repair water line when counter work is done. My dishwasher skips the final drain cycle. The lines are all clean and there is no clog. It drains just fine in the beginning of the wash cycle. Every time I do a load of dishes I have to run the full cycle, then leave the machine open for 3-4 hours and start the cycle again and listen for the drain at the beginning of the wash to drain the machine from the initial wash and stop the machine after it is done draining so it won't fill up again.
