Having problems with your Maytag Dishwashers ?
The dishwasher cycles are slowing down and the dial seems to be staying in one location too long.
HI. This is a strong indication of timer failure. The timer motor is damaged. This will cause a weak, or no forward motion of the timer dial. This will, also, disrupt the normal flow of the cycle, as well.I would advise to replace this damaged timer control device asap. Once replaced, the unit will operate correctly.

Kenmore Dishwasher model 665.1675592 doesn't seem to wash as well as it used to. Seems to have a low water level. Filler valve works, allows water in, but never seems to fill enough. No spray reaches top shelf, I think due to insufficient water level. It's like the timer doesn't stay on long enough for it to fill. Also cycle time seems WAY up, but if the timer is slow, how does it time out filling so fast? Looks like it would be slow all the time. Suggestions?

I have inherited a Blanco Bfdw 650s Dishwasher and there seems to be a manual dial as opposed to automatic ones which is what I'm used to...does this mean I have to stay home to help the machine perform it's cycle??

Dishwasher problem Our Asko 1353 dishwasher stops halfway through its's wash cycle. I suspected the thermostat, as it seemed loose in it's holder and not tight against the tub. After I tightened the holder the problem is still the same. Also, the on/off switch (pressure switch?) does not stay in the on position and when I looked it over I found one of the crimp on terminals had melted. Short circuit? Too much resistance from bad thermostat? How do I check the thermostat before I order a new one?
I think your switch may just be bad,but to check the t-stat remove both wires and use a multimeter, set the meter to ohms and connect the two leads to the terminals on the t-stat.with the t-stat to off you should read an (ol) open condition, when you t ... Dishwashers
My 5 year old bosch dishwasher cycles to one minute and then cycles forever and ever with very soapy water in the bottom. After a very long time, the water is out of the dishwasher but soap residue is left on the dishes and the bottom ot the dishwasher. We are presently using only 1/2 teaspoon of detergent (Finish brand). I have had a repairman here to look at it, but he didn't seem confident that it was a timer issue and even though I have paid the exorbitant service call fee, I am not sure I wa

Bosch SHU4302 DW has a leak in the bottom left. I cleaned the gasket etc. but no luck. Slow leak drip by drip in the wash cycle. This model does not seem to have the steam vent that other Bosch models have. I can clearly see the water past the gasket on the left, but not the right. But the gaskets on left and right seem to be located identically. Any help in resolving is appreciated. Best Regards
I've got a 4306, and while it never leaked, the bottom door gasket did seem to chemically melt over the years.I replaced it a few months ago. I don't know that a steam vent is needed as the gasketing system never allows any steam pressure ... Bosch Dishwashers
Blowing fuse... We've replaced the overheating fuse located in the control board area about 5 times. It has just blown again after using the dishwaser one time--before it would go about a month before blowing the fuse. It seems to get about a few minutes away from completing the wash cycle and does not complete the draining process. Help!! We don't know what to do next--replacing the fuse is costing about $15 each time, before you know it we could have bought a new one! Thanks for the help. Ti
Tim, this blown fuse issue was pretty common on this model. Whirlpool, which made this model came out with a fuse kit that included a terminal and heavier guage wire to eliminate this problem. It just splices right into the control board, easy job. T ... Kenmore 17024 Built-in Dishwasher
My dishwasher is seeming to stay on the wash cycle. How long is a normal wash cycle?

I have a SHU43C05UC/22 Bosch dishwasher that runs fine till it gets to wash then it seems to stick there. the timer times down to 1 and it stays there for a really long time. it doesn't appear that the washer ever gets out of the wash cycle. when you stop/open the door there is still soapy water in the tub. You can cancel the program and it will drain the tub fine then you have to select rinse and hold to clean out the soap out.

I have a Bosch dishwasher (SMI5072), bought in 2005 second-hand but working OK. It has always been a little slow to get going, and I had initially thought the clockwork program dial was getting stuck. Then I concluded that it had something to do with the filling up process, and I thought it must be because the water was rather cold and paid no more attention to it. This has meant that it seemingly takes ages to get through a cycle. Yesterday I put it on, left it and got on with some work. An h
