Bottoms on diswaher do not work - Maytag Dishwashers

Answers :

I assume that you mean the spray arms. Check that the arm spins freely when spun by hand, then check the outlet jets at the trailing end of the arm is not blocked with food particles and other solid matter. This often happens and the arm is unable to turn because the water jet that is supposed to drive the arm does not have the force to rotate it with the result is that the dishes do not get enough water and chemicals.

Maytag My Maytag dishwasher is leaking from the bottom. It is a mdbh940aww. it was never used before. It was wrapped in the plastic wrap when I bought the house in 2005. Now the old one just went and I want to put this one in. It fit nicely, works great but leaks all over the floor. It is level and I check most of the parts. I put a mirror underneath and it looks like the rubber thing isnt looking too good. Do I replace this? If so how?

I also had a mdbh940aww that leaked from underneath. You need to check out where the water is leaking from. Unscrew and remove the bottom front panel so you can view under the dishwasher. Start up the dishwasher and using a flashlight see where th ... Dishwashers

I have a maytag jetclean quiet pack dishwasher. The top dishes are not getting clean. The glasses always have sandy residue in them and sometimes orange juice etc at the bottom of the glass isn't removed. I have added jet dry, this doesnt work. I ran the rinse cycle today and opened it up during the cycle and I didn't see the middle pop up spin thing in the middle of the bottom shelf doing anything. It should be spraying during the rinse cycle correct? Thanks for your help

Maytag Dishwasher I would like to know the proper water level after DW fills. Older Whirlpool units a quick guide was when water just covered heater. I have a new D/W and the water supply is difficult to access, there is a kink in the water line slowing the water flow. The D/W fills to bottom of heater, but because the unit is so quiet I can't determine if it is timing out or working properly. I intend to repair water line when counter work is done. Thanks for any help Gary

My Maytag dishwasher model #MDB4650AWW bought in 2005 has developed several ongoing problems. The first is that the dishes get clean but there is always sandy dirty dried bits left on the glasses. The cycle dial stays at the "bottom" cycle (there's nothing written). If I turn it 1-2 "clicks", the dishwasher continues its work and ultimatly finishes with very good cleaning results. Had my Maytag dishwasher for just over 2 years. Lately is has been making a loud grinding/vibrating noise - like something is stuck. I actually pulled out a piece of a plastic twist tie or something and thought I had solved the problem. Worked like a charm for a couple of days and suddenly the sound is back - and worse! I've read here that you should remove the bottom piece and make sure nothing is stuck before calling service. I'm the woman that's going to do this and could use some guidance ..

It appears that water is not running through the dishwasher or that the sprayers are not working correctly. There doesn't appear to be a clog. However, I did find a round rubber "washer" (I think that is what they are called) laying in the bottom of the dishwasher - where does this part go. It was working fine until this wash. The heating element works fine but like I said it appears that something may be wrong with the spray tower. Please advise Model number of Hotpoint: HDA3420Z01BB T

My Professional series dishwasher does not work properly. It is only 1.5 years old and glasses on top rack get sprayed with fine layer of particles every time I use it. Other items, top and bottom, are often not clean as well, but glasses are the hardest to re-clean. Hi, I have a Kenmore 15879 that is basically working except the bottom water spinner...lol (don't know technical name). The dishwasher pumps the water into the bottom of the dishwasher, will heat the water, but not disperse the water in the spinning sprinkler manner it's suposed to. I've opened the dishwasher in time to see that water is spurting out of the holes about 2" high, but it's just not spinning. The water also drains just fine after the whole cycle.

This is caused by the impeller being clogged or the pump is failing, When the pump is woring properly the water will shoot out with force. ... Kenmore 15879 Built-in Dishwasher
