Having problems with your Maytag MDB8959AWS Builtin Dishwasher ?

I am having trouble attaching 90 degree brass elbow to the plastic water inlet on my new Maytag Dishwasher. Getting leaks. Teflon tape hasn't worked. Cant seem to get the washer to seat properly when everything is tightened down. Wish the water inlet was not made of plastic. It appears it would seat the gasket properly if the water inlet was made of something more durable.

My Bosch Classixx (about 10 years old) dishwasher won't fill The problem has only started since I pulled it out and cleaned! The programme sounds are as normal but no water enters the machine. I detected a small leak on the inlet pipe and tightened that. The machine drains when I add water manually though it has made a lot of gurgling noises for some time now when draining. When tipped on its side water comes out of the bottom of the machine (not entirely clear but not dirty either). When upri

I have a slimline dishwasher from Ikea. The model is Whirlpool DWH C10 W manual. Everything worked fine up until the other day when I switched the machine on and it made a noise as if it was working but nothing happens. No water comes into the washer although inlet pip looks fine. I have poured water in and it is drained okay but the dishwasher is not cleaning dishes. After checking through numerous forum and reading about a flood prevention switch which can be sorted by tipping the d

I have a Bosch Dishwasher Model # SHU43C that is not washing properly. Some dishes are not being cleaned if we don't pre-scrub or rinse. There are no error codes on the panel. During the cycle I hear the pump motor starting and stopping repeatedly on about 1 second intervals. I suspect it may be starved for inlet water. I checked the inlet water line and it is clear. We use well water that occassionally has some iron sediment in it and it plugged the inlet water screen for our washing mach

Hi,\015\012It is very possible that the screen is plugged...most inlet valves have a screen just like your washer does. I would at least remove the hose/pipe and check the flow...and check for a screen. \015\012Also the solenoid can get j ... Bosch 24 in. SHU43 Built-in Dishwasher

Aeg favorit 50860 dishwasher and the dishes are not cleaning properly. Filter has been cleaned; Finish dishwasher cleaner has been run through machine; dishes are stacked properly.. any ideas? Hi there, The error code 'strong and economy light flicker fleetly' is showing. the manual says that this means too much inlet water. We have drained the machine, cleaned waste pipe and tried to operate with a reduced flow from the inlet pipe but it's still not working. I filled the base of the dishwasher with water to see if it drains properly. It seems to be draining, but also leaking out of the base as well..? Any ideas?.

I have a Viking dishwasher made by Asko. It is less than 6 months old. Today I had a problem with my disposal (water not draining through it and leaking under the sink) and ran the dishwasher, which cleaned/dried the dishes fine. BUT, since the water was not properly draining from the disposal, apparently the dishwasher was not draining properly either. A repairman came to fix the disposal before I knew about the dishwasher issue. Now, the dishwasher won't turn off "draining mode" - button pu

Inglis MOD#IPU58460 Dishes not cleaned properly...thought that enough water was not being filled into tub because more water added manually and washes great! I checked inlet water valve operation and lines for possible lime buildup and timed "fill" time. All was good and time right to spec! Water level after fill is just to bottom of mesh screens. My dishwasher was recently 'installed'. i don't know if the contractor made a mistake or if the water valve is not turned on, but the cycle tries to start but then no water is flowing into the dishwasher. everything appears to be hooked up, but I think it's the water issue b/c i also have a new refrigerator and the water dispenser/ice maker does not work because no water is flowing into the fridge either.

This sure sounds like a water valve issue, for sure. You will have to trace out the lines (not easy, but possible) and figure out where the valve is. They usually turn left to open, and right to close. I would call the contractor and tell them ... Frigidaire Professional Series 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher Dishwasher

"Sensing" Light Moved a 5 year old dishwasher that was functioning just fine to a different location. Hooked everything up and gave it a test run without any dishes in it. Fills and heats water properly, then buzzing noise heard for a ling time and then it drains the water out, with out circulating the water into the washer arms, etc. Any guesses? Could something have gotten lodged in the pump during transport?

I have a whirlpool gold model GU1500 diswasher. When the rinse cycle ends the water pumps out into the garbage disposal like it should, but then water backs-up from somewhere into the bottom of the dishwasher. The overfill protection drain seems OK...the water doesn't overflow. It doesn't have a air gap on the sink. The drain hose goes directly from the dishwasher to the inlet on the garbage disposal. It appears to be properly installed per the installation instructions. The washer is about 4 ye

Hello, I had a problem with my Bosch dishwasher not washing properly. I have fixed burnt out wires, replaced the water inlet valve, AND tested with a new control module. Nothing is helping. When I start the cycle, it completes the initial drain and water does flow into the unit for about a minute, maybe a minute and a half. I can hear the clicking of cycle changes but it is not washing. Eventually it will drain the inch or so of water in the bottom, but it never washes. Any help???

My dishwasher has stopped cleaning plates properly. It makes everything wet but at the end of the cycle the detergent block is half dissolved at the bottom. I have just run a cycle and opened the door during this. I just purchased an LDF6920. It does not dry the dishes. In fact, there is water remaining in the bottom, and all the dishes and drum and door are beaded with water. It suggests putting some sort of water removing chemical, but I have never owned a dishwasher that did not made some effort to dry the dishes. I have to hand dry or have spots on everything. I am very, very disappointed with my new, and expensive, purchase.

The machine does not seem to rinse properly. We have checked the water fill level, water temperature, spray arms are not clogged, have determined it is not a hard water problem and have tried Glass Magic and CLR to verify the lattter. My Miele Platnum dishwasher is not working. It is flashing "intake/drain" When it begins instead of the normal hearing of water moving around you just hear a humming. My husband and father took out all the filters/baskets etc and made sure everything was cleaned out. They checked the hoses. After that it seemed like it was going to work because it started to cycle normally but now it is flashing again and this time there was water standing in the bottom of the dishwasher. Any thoughts?

Cycles improperly My dishwasher does not cycle properly. It races through the cycles, even when set to pots & pans, in about ten minutes.
