Having problems with your Miele 18 in. G611SC Plus Slim-Line Free-Standing Dishwasher ?

Hi, Our Miele G611SC plus is making a high pitched noise for about 1 minute when (I think) it is on the rinse cycle. When it then changes to the next cycle, the high pitched noise stops. We got the unit new about 4 years ago. Thanks, Berni

Hey Berni,\012
\012I've been having the same problem for quite sometime with my Touchtronic G 892 SC. It goes away if I open up the cabinet under the sink and wiggle the water inlet hose where it's connected to the dishwasher's "backflow" water inlet. I'm getting ready to disconnect the fitting and see if there's lime (or some other type) of buildup in the filter screen. I don't know what else it could be. I'll try to follow-up when finished with this task.\012

After 3 years it just started making a loud noise, I am no expert but it sounds like a fan in a motor. I have only heard it today, but I am betting it will still happen next load too. I didn't change any of the settings, have been running the same way forever. When I did hear this noise I started pushing buttons to see if I could get it to stop, no good, no change. The cycle has completed and everything looks ok, waiting on the dishes to dry. Drainage has never been a problem for me either.

I would say this is a build up of lime.try changing your tablets and checking your salt levels.there is no fan .try what i say and see what happens.have you found a glass broken it could be as simple as that but i dont think its serious.adrian,,,, ... GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher

We have just purchased and installed our dishwasher. Towards the end of the cycles it has a very high pitch noise when the heated drying cycle. Is this normal, or is there something wrong? It is VERY annoying - it reminds us of a 'ringing in the ears' noise. Also - is there a listing of time for each cycle? It seems that it runs a LONG time in each cycle that I have tried - with or without any specific instruction, i.e. heated dry. Thank you.

The dishwasher does not complete a cycle. It starts the cycle just fine but then it stops after one minute. It seems like it gets stuck and won't move to the next step. I do hear a slight clicking noise similar to a clock ticking, like its trying to move on, but then it stops. It clicks three times. Kenmore dishwasher has loud noise during fill. If you let it go, the washer fills. Once filled, noise stops and wash cycle continues. Sounds like plumbing does when there is air in the pipes. Not a grinding sound. Very deep pitch. Stops when the washer fills with water.

This isn't a solution but rather a comment, if the problem is happening only during the fill, then it could be the water inlet valve. Perhaps there is a soliniod going in the valve, watch to see if the fill cycle starts to dimminish over time. Does t ... Kenmore Dishwashers

Humming noise i have a GE nautilus GSD2200 model which has not been used more than 4 years that is giving me trouble.  it's making a loud humming noise (the noise comes and goes, comes and goes) which seems to be coming from the motor area at the bottom of the unit.  I stopped it in the middle of the cycle, but the water seems to be stagnant at the bottom.  any suggestion on fixing the problem myself?
