Having problems with your Miele 23 in. Novotronic G841 Built-In Dishwasher ?

Miele Optima G 2430 - The dishwasher will pump water in for 5 seconds with the Intake/Drain light flashing 5 times. Then the light stays on for 5 seconds and it does nothing. This process is repeated for about 10 minutes untill the washer is filled to the just below the door with water. Then the washer starts running for about 1 1/2 minutes and drains the water. Then it all starts over. If I let it do this for a hour - The display reads F12 with the Intake/Drain light flashing.

The first thing that should be checked is if its draining\015\012properly as it could be that the drain hose is clogged and needs to be cleaned.\015\012The drain pump also should not be clogged. Also the stopcock should be opened\015\012fully and the water inlet valve should be checked for any clogs. Also the metal filter, impeller cover and the air gap unit should be\015\012checked. After checking this you can reset the error as follows: turn the rotary selector\015\012switch to "Stop/End" or press the "Start/Stop" switch for\015\012approx. 5 secs. Then switch the appliance off and then back on again. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

How to diagnose? My Kenmore won't run. First it was flashing the clean light 7 times, so I figured out how to reset ("High Temp Scrub"/"Air Dry"/"High Temp Scrub"/"Air Dry"), but when I try to run a wash, it sounds like it's not getting water into the tub. When I checked it several minutes later, it was in "Cancel" mode, making a sound like it was draining (or trying to drain), then the clean light started flashing 7 times again. Clearly, the machine has something wrong but I don't know where to
