I have a bosch millennium series SHU9905UC. There is still water at the bottom of the dishwasher from the last time it was run. I think it may not have completed the cycle as a few bowls were still dirty. Now when I try to put the washer on and press a cycle, no light is coming on at all. It seems dead. Is there anything I can try before calling in service people?

Doesn't appear that the washer is running through its cycle. The soap packet isn't desolving and no water is on the plates. There was an incident when the washer tripped the circuit breaker, reset breaker and now it doesn't work. Is there anything I can do, or do I need to call service?

I think something went wrong with your motor or the inlet Solenoid valve. That was the reason for the trip.Take service center help!Hope you are getting power after resetting the trip. ... Kenmore 24 in. 17482 / 17484 / 17489 Built-in Dishwasher

Dishwasher is making a loud grinding noise when it's started. Doesn't matter the cycle choice; the cycle starts as normal then once started up starts making a sort of grinding noise as the water is pulsing, like something is stuck or blocking the "push" of water. I couldn't see anything stuck in the bottom - any thoughts before I call a repair person? I've never owned a dishwasher before - maybe there's a basic drain/blockage thing I should check out first? And, any recommendations for repair

After a very long time, the water is out of the dishwasher but soap residue is left on the dishes and the bottom ot the dishwasher. We are presently using only 1/2 teaspoon of detergent (Finish brand). I have had a repairman here to look at it, but he didn't seem confident that it was a timer issue and even though I have paid the exorbitant service call fee, I am not sure I wa

We have a Fisher& Paykel dishwasher with 2 drawers -- one on top of the other. Model DD603. The bottom drawer works fine. But the top drawer is not working properly -- it repeatedly stops in the middle of the cycle and there is water left in the drawer. Previously when this happened, we called a repairman; he removed the top drawer from the machine, said it was "off track", flipped some lever, and put the drawer back. He seemed a little embarrassed by having to charge for a service call for

My GE Nautilus dishwasher keeps PUMPING water "out" of the machine during the entire wash cycle. I have removed all covers in the bottom of the unit to see if anything is stock. Used vinegar and CLR to remove mineral deposits-- yet nothing solves the water being pumped out the drain hose.. what's next, please.. a solution !?!

Our Asko 3530 dishwasher is giving us a 'water inlet fault' code. The machine goes through the pre-drain at cycle start then begins to fill, continues until it's full then kicks out the fault code. I have changed the inlet valve, reset the system to factory default and taken off the lower front panel, finding the overflow area to be dry. Is it time to call for service or is there something else to try before spending the big bucks?

Hi,This sounds like either the overflow sensor or the water control valve is stuck.Usually the valve is a solenoid valve that controls the entrance and fill of the water. If the overflow sensor is underneath, there may be wate ... Asko 24 in. D3530FI Built-in Dishwasher

I had a service tech at my house to repair my refrigerator. He also took a look at my Maytag WU504 dishwaser, which was not cleaning the dishes anymore. He was less familiar with dishwasher diagnosis, but found that the lower spray arm was pumping out water through the jets properly in the cycles, but that the spray arm was not rotating. He seemed stumped and called his supervisor, who suggested it might be the wash impeller. I have looked at the parts diagram on partselectdotcom and taken t

Cycle begins and we can hear water filling up, but the arm doesn't spin, and water isn't being "sprayed" around the washer. We can hear the dishwasher "clicking" throughout the cycle, but nothing else is happening, and about 10 minutes through the cycle water just comes pouring out the bottom of the door. There is a bit of a burning smell as well.

Appliance had been working fine now all of a sudden no water is running in the dishwasher. The machine appears to run through all of its cycles but without water. The water pressure in the ajoining sink appears a little low though the water pressure in the rest of my home is fine. I see no water leakage anywhere. Do I need to call an appliance tech or should I call a plumber? Thank you.

Turns on, the entire cycle runs, but no water pumps through the sprayer. There is water present on the bottom....and I can here the water pumping in at the beginning of the cyle....but the dishes are not being 'washed' by the sprayers. I have disassembled and cleaned the entire inside and sprayers to no avail. Im thinking its a pump/motor issue but Im not sure because the sprayers spin, the heat comes on, the detergent dispenses....but no water is being sprayed. Thanks.

I have a brand new whirlpool DU1055XTV5 dishwasher, installed two days ago. After the cycle completes there is about 1/2" clean standing water left in the bottom. It is not just down in the well area, the whole bottom is covered with water. This is after running a normal cycle with no other options such as sanitize or heat dry. Holding water There is water in the bottom of the machine after the cycle is done. There is definitely draining going on throughout the cycle, but it's not draining completely at the end -and the water that is left is murky. Spoke to a friend who tells me it sounds like the dump valve, but in checking on line, that doesn't seem to be a part that even exists any more. Do I need to buy a new dishwasher? This was not in the budget this year... Thanks for any advice! Nancy

Even when the power button on the machine is switched off or the door is opened, the motor continues to run but without water. Water is definitely switched on under sink. I think the computer is confused - can you please help?

I suspect this is nothing to do with switching off during the cycle.take the bottom plate off and check if there is water leaked into the bottom pan. alternatively, if you can, tilt the machine back to 45deg and see if water runs out.most ... Dishwashers

My ariston lsv 66 dishwasher will not start washing cycle. It makes the pumping noise as it normally does at the start of the cycle and some water enters the bottom of the machine but then it stops.
