How to replace the fuse?
\015 My dishwasher Miele G 598 (german) Classic doesn't work. It stopped yesterday night by the end of a cicle. One of the reasons in the users manual could be the fuse broken. How to replace it? Thanks in advance for any tip. Regards,\015\012macnando\015

Blowing fuse... We've replaced the overheating fuse located in the control board area about 5 times. It has just blown again after using the dishwaser one time--before it would go about a month before blowing the fuse. It seems to get about a few minutes away from completing the wash cycle and does not complete the draining process. Help!! We don't know what to do next--replacing the fuse is costing about $15 each time, before you know it we could have bought a new one! Thanks for the help. Ti
Tim, this blown fuse issue was pretty common on this model. Whirlpool, which made this model came out with a fuse kit that included a terminal and heavier guage wire to eliminate this problem. It just splices right into the control board, easy job. T ... Kenmore 17024 Built-in Dishwasher

Hi I have the Kitchenaid dishwasher KUDIO1FLSS2 and all the buttons work except the two most important ones, the heavy and normal cycle. I had a service person out about 6 mo. ago and he said the control panel was about to go bad and replaced a fuse. He ended up coming again a week later and replacing the fuse with a stronger fuse. Now it's acting up again and I'm sick of hand washing dishes and don't feel like handing over another $300 or more if I can do it myself or maybe I just need to buy a

Thermal fuse Dishwasher konked out mid-cycle and now no power to control pad. We've already had the thermal fuse replaced once (machine is only 2 years old!) and this appears to be the same issue. I tried to open the front and I think I can see where it is but not sure how to get it out and replace it AGAIN. I wasn't able to get the inside panel completely apart from the front of the unit so I was somewhat limited. I'd rather save the service charge if I can and there's n

I have a Whirlpool DU1055XTSS dishwasher that completely stopped working. I took it apart, found the thermal fuse to be bad, ordered a new, then replaced it and it worked for 2 loads. Now the thermal is open again. What could be "taking it out"? Is the thermal fuse strictly a thermal or does it repsond to current? It's 2 years old, i have already replaced the heating element, the main control board, and now the thermal....twice.

My Whirlpool GU2400XTP dishwasher keeps blowing the fuse. It sat up for 6months because the control panel went out and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Finally replaced the panel and the thermal fuse blew during the first wash cycle. I tried to put a 15AMP fuse in it's place to check it out before I bought a new thermal fuse and it too blew during the first cycle. Any ideas?
Are you replacing the wires along with the fuse? It is important to change the wires too as they are usually the cause for the fuse blowing. Be sure and get the fuse kit that includes the wires. \015\012\015\012Is your water too hot? Hot ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

KitchenAid dishwasher: KUDS01FL - I have had to replace the fuse every year and now I can't even get through on cycle with the fuse going. It is now dead again! It almost makes it through the full cycle and then stops (fuse blows)- no power - and there is some water left in the bottom which I have to physically remove. I spent a fortune on repairs every year since I bought it and would like to try to avoid another charge. I appreciate any help that you can offer. Thank you, Carol
I would check the pump. It may be slightly jammed or have debris which is causing it not to fully move or cause it to move very hard popping the breaker. I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner 3. It sat up for a few months because the control panel went out and it took a while to save up and order a new one. Now it blew the thermal fuse. I put a 15amp automotive fuse in it to try it, and it runs until it fills up and blows the fuse again. I am trying to figure out how to test the motor and the heating element to see if they are shorted. My local repair shop told me that they want to replace my new panel with their panel first, and that after that
