Having problems with your Miele G2142 24 in Builtin Dishwasher ?

I have a MieleG2142. One of the racks is not sliding smoothly which I believe I have narrowed down to one of the wheels in the rail guides not turning. How are the rail guides removed?

Answers :

Hi dear.Try this.Pull the top basket towards you.Check on the side (if you can) back of the basket two of the wheels on top row should be on rail guide & third one just under the rail guide to support the basket. It should be even on both side of basket to run smoothly. If not pull the basket all the way towards you & lift up the basket you are holding.Basket will be free to come out of rail guide.(Please check, are the rail guides running in & out freely without basket? If not there are two plastic wheel inside of the each rail guide one or two of it must be damaged. That needs to be replaced. Please also check side wheels on the basket, they sould be freely turning. If not needs to be replaced.) If that did not work out,try to put back the basket even way to rail guide the way took it off.Contact Miele for assitants.Thanks.Goodluck.

I am trying to replace the GUIDE RAIL BRACKET ASM on my GE dishwasher (model no. GSM1800JWW). How do I either: (a) remove the old brackets, and then install the new ones; or (b) remove the rollers from my new brackets, so that I could slip these rollers onto the old brackets still in the dishwasher, saving the trouble of removing the old brackets in the first place? Either solution would be acceptable, but right now I can't figure out how to do either one without breaking something. Thank you v

Miele dishwasher G2870 scm. There is an F14 fault. I have cleaned the arms removed the waste basket from the bottom of the dishwasher and removed the two parts one with the large metal ball to expose the plastic wheel clog. There does not appear to be a blockage. I also removed the top arm and cleaned that out. I don't know what other inlets to check as the guide does not tell me exactly what an F14 fault is but explains F11,12,13. Can you help?

I want to remove the white plastic wheel that propels water into the circulating arms. It is held with one screw which I cannot seem to be able to loosen. This white plastic wheel has 2 small holes in the surface which are perhaps there for some special tool to hold the wheel stationary in order to loosen the screw holding this wheel in place. Underneath this gray plastic housing is the heating element. I want to remove it in order to clean accumulated deposits of gunk.

The flimsy plastic guide wheels on the rack for my (ca. 2000) GE monogram dishwasher have been breaking. Six so far. GE wants $25 - $30 per wheel to replace and $235 for a whole new rack!! I will not reward this rapacious corporate behavior. Is there an appliance graveyard (like an auto wreck yard) where one can get a used rack? Are there wheel manufacturers/suppliers that will sell reasonably wheels of similar dimensions to the breaking wheels? Preferably in nylon or stainless steel, not the cr

The upper rack side rail is loose where it attaches to the side wall of the dishwasher. It allows the upper rack to wobble. When the dishwasher is turned on, the force of the water pushes the rack forward so it detaches from the water supply and the arm does not rotate. The arm and connection are all clear and the arm is able to rotate, so those problems are not a factor. The wheels are in good condition. The left rail is a little loose; the right one is very loose. I found one plug in a drainhole that I have removed but are there more? No draining but also not a noise from a pump, (or is it that quiet?) Or maybe the mice got to some wiring. thank you.

Don't know the brand of my jetted bathtub, which blows water. The round on-off dial just stopped functioning - stuck in ON mode. I'm trying to remove the disposal cover in the dishwasher (GE GSD3207P00WW) in order to clean it, but unlike previous models I've dealt with, this one has a filter thing that looks like a tilted plate, just under the main washer, and that has apparently a drainage tube (or some such) that goes down through the disposal cover, so I'm unable to remove it. How does one take that apart?

Poor drying, mold building up in the tub. The condensing drying system is not working well. I pulled the unit out and removed a panel on the left side (facing washer). Saw that the plastic box that appears to be set up for moist air removal and vents to the tub had considerable mold in it at the top of one of the passage ways. Looked like it might be blocking air flow. Could this be a cause of poor drying? Can this unit be removed and cleaned? Also soap isn't dissolving. Bad board controllin

Door leak The dishwasher is 2 and half year old and is randomly leaking for at least one year or even more. The leak originally occurred at both lower ends of the door, close to the hinges. The leak was about one liter and the door panel sound insulation soaked with water. After door panel was removed, the leak location was identified at both ends of the lower door gasket. The outside part of the U-shaped gasket was filled with water, and eventually water was spilled on the floor. The leak can g
