Having problems with your Neff 24 in. S5457X0GB Built-in Dishwasher ?

The dishwasher cycles down to 1min and then keeps trying to empty. It never does get there though. Water is still in the sump. Emptied this out once and it started ok again. Removed side cleaned out the sticky float switch. This was full of gunk. Noticed rear tank was partially blocked. Is this anything? Which is the outlet solenoid

Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB740RC. Not cleaning dishes well. Just in the past couple weeks. When the dishwasher fills with water, how full should it get. When mine fills, it definitely doesn't go up to the element, and just barely makes it to the float switch (not enough to trigger it), makes it to just below the base of it, doesn't come up the side of it at all. Is this normal, or should there be more water. The Water valve has been replaced already.

Bosch Classixx dishwasher: Initially no water feed and 'water check' light came on. Removed side panel, emptied water from base. Ran OK for a week or so. The problem then repeated so side panel removed, float switch operation checked (OK) drained water from sump below polystyrene float. Ran OK but contents came out dirty and cold - no heat. Side panels off again, water in base but no obvious leak when watched during cycle - still no heat. Help please.

My dishwashing isn't filling properly. I think there is residue on the float "thingy" (located on the bottom right side close to the door) and it doesn't float like it should, so the dishwasher thinks the water level is correct when it isn't. How can I clean it and get rid of the gunk that is keeping the float from floating?.

After running our dishes through a wash cycle we noticed there was still a lot of food stuck on the plates & glasses etc. We cleaned out the trap but due to the murky water in the well, we also pulled out the racks & removed the bottom plate. The underside was greasy and had a lot of grim stuck to it as well as the bottom of the drawer itself. We washed the filter trap, swing arm and plate in the sink. We loaded it with the dishes that previously did not come clean and ran a full cycle. The

My Bosch Classixx is not filling with water and no sound of the pump trying to work either. I fiddled around with it as it was not cleaning bowls properly on the bottom shelf - plates and cutlery were fine! Think I might have disturbed the round dome thing - is this the "float switch"? There is also about an inch in the bottom of the filter area which I have cleaned out of gunk but still with water there. Any ideas please!

I have a Bosch dishwasher model no. SHU66C05UC that does not drain properly. After checking for a clear drain tube and finding no problem. I removed the left side panel and found that the red float was not rising in the tube. If I pull up the trigger device to engage the pump switch the machine drains. What causes the float to stay down and what is required to free it? Thanks for any help.

Like so many others, I am experiencing a problem with my GE dishwasher's smartdispense. I have ALWAYS used the SAME detergent(Cascade Complete)and still have the gumming-up issue. I noticed that the dishes were not getting clean and when I opened the smartdispense cover I could see that the detergent was gelled. Spent the better part of 2 hours trying to remove as much gunk out of the dispenser as I could with the help of a plumbers flexible plastic drain cleaning tool. This really angers me as

SHX46B I have a 4 year old Dishwasher that filled up with clean water on it's own and leaked on the floor. There appears to ba a float switch switch on the very bottom of the unit that runs the pump if this happens. It won't stop until I remove the water caught in the plastic base on the very bottom of the unit. Drain is clear and this machine has worked fine until now. I'm thinking it may be a bad or leaky fill valve but how can I check?

Bosch she4am Unit starts briefly, then stops about a minute into the operation and lights the CLEAN led. I located the diagnostics code paper, ran the test a few times, and come up with the same code...the CLEAN led lit indicates a door switch problem. I removed the door switch, it's a magnetic hall effect transistor..seems to work but not sure it's showing proper voltages. It reads 8vdc or so across the switch with door open, and about 11.7vdc with door closed. Seems too narrow a range to me

I have a 13 year old Siemens SE64630GB. It isn't cleaning items in the upper basket and I believe it's due to lack of water pressure in the upper spray arm leading to little or no rotation of the arm. Poor drying, mold building up in the tub. The condensing drying system is not working well. I pulled the unit out and removed a panel on the left side (facing washer). Saw that the plastic box that appears to be set up for moist air removal and vents to the tub had considerable mold in it at the top of one of the passage ways. Looked like it might be blocking air flow. Could this be a cause of poor drying? Can this unit be removed and cleaned? Also soap isn't dissolving. Bad board controllin

I want to remove the white plastic wheel that propels water into the circulating arms. It is held with one screw which I cannot seem to be able to loosen. This white plastic wheel has 2 small holes in the surface which are perhaps there for some special tool to hold the wheel stationary in order to loosen the screw holding this wheel in place.
