Model#lds5811bb--started making noise coming from the water inlet area(bottom left). 3/4's of the way through the cycle, noise became louder and then an error code "le" came on. We tried turning breaker off, then we tried in the rinse only cycle, but 5 minutes into it the "le" code error came on again. I'm fairly handy, so I'm not sure what part I can replace to maybe solve the problem. I can't afford to spend a couple of hundred dollars for a repair man to fix it. I'll appreciate any suggestion

The LE code is a locked motor code. Something may have gotten into the pump impeller. I would take the screens and filters off and clean the and check the pump for something stuck in it. It could also be the motor going bad but I would check the obvi ... LG Dishwashers

Hi there, The error code 'strong and economy light flicker fleetly' is showing. the manual says that this means too much inlet water. We have drained the machine, cleaned waste pipe and tried to operate with a reduced flow from the inlet pipe but it's still not working. I filled the base of the dishwasher with water to see if it drains properly. It seems to be draining, but also leaking out of the base as well..? Any ideas?.

I have a similar problem to another person. The drain on the dish drawer was blocked. The unit now shows an F1 error code ( flood?) and the pump runs continuously even after I've unblocked everything. I've tried switching it off for ages and drying everything out. When I switch it on again it shows the wash programme but then reverts to F1 and the pump motor runs continuously. Any ideas to cancel the F1 code?

The flood sensor on this unit is a PC board in the base, so you would need to remove the lower drawer and dry it out under there. There are no error codes displayed and the display appears normal (ie lights up and shows time for program completion etc). When the problem first occurred the machine was full of dirty water. Hi! We just installed our LG LDF8812WW built in dishwasher. We ran our first cycle and after the wash cycle the dishwasher displayed error code OE. I read that it meant there is a problem with the drainage, and to check the hose if it is kinked. Well, the hose is not kinked and we have no idea why it would have a problem with the draining. We have the hose set up per the installation instructions. How can we check to for something clogged? Any suggestions?

Towards end of dishwashing cycle error code comes up and consitently beeps, can not turn off by machine buttons or reset. We have to reset by power plug. Water is left in bottom of macine, dishwashing powder is left on most things. Rinse button then works, it then drains the machine no problem. So I dont think it is the pump.
