The fuse in the plug keeps blowing. Initially it would run for a while - sometimes 3 or 4 cycles - before blowing. It now blows the fuse the second that I plug in to the socket, even with the on/off button on the front of the dishwasher set to off.I'm keen to take it apart, but it's full of water as it blew mid-cycle. Is there a clever way to empty the machine without the power being on, or do I need bits of hose and sponges?A schematic blow up would also be extremely helpful.

We have an Hotpoint FDW70 Dishwasher that for some time has had an A10 fault which although stops the machine some times 70% of the time it does a full cycle. However it is now tripping out the electric at the mains. It is not RCD protected, but does not blow it's own 13amp fuse or that of the fused extention lead it is pluged in to. Tends to blow after about 5 minutes. I know about the fault code A10 being 'Fill Valve Triac' but as not an engineer what is that? and what parts are needed and or

Hi the fill valve triac is the plastic vlave that the inlet hose connects to you can get them for about £10 you reset the machine after replacing it by switching it on, pressing the power button leaving it off for about a minute then switching ... Dishwashers

My Whirlpool GU2400XTP dishwasher keeps blowing the fuse. It sat up for 6months because the control panel went out and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Finally replaced the panel and the thermal fuse blew during the first wash cycle. I tried to put a 15AMP fuse in it's place to check it out before I bought a new thermal fuse and it too blew during the first cycle. Any ideas?

My Samsung DMR77LHS dishwasher has lost power completely near the end of a cycle. About an inch of water remains. I have power to the unit. I checked the 15 amp fuse in the unit - it had blown. I replaced it, but still no luck. The fuse is not blowing, but there is no power to panel. Nothing happens when you hit the power button - no lights or anything. Unit acts as if ther is no power at all. I have seen similar posts. Any thoughts?
