Hi, I have a 10yr old Neff s5543 built-in dishwasher, it is has been working fine but recently has stopped fully draining. I have removed it from the housing and checked all pipe work is unblocked and not kinked, have also blown back down drain tube to free any blockages from drain pipe, have also removed pump cover and checked around impellor for any foreign bodies etc. Everything seems clean and free. After I run the dishwasher, water stands at the bottom and it smells. I have had the dishwasher for five years. The washer seems to be working properly it's just that water stands at the base of the washer. Is it normal for water to always stand there?

My Miele Platnum dishwasher is not working. It is flashing "intake/drain" When it begins instead of the normal hearing of water moving around you just hear a humming. My husband and father took out all the filters/baskets etc and made sure everything was cleaned out. They checked the hoses. After that it seemed like it was going to work because it started to cycle normally but now it is flashing again and this time there was water standing in the bottom of the dishwasher. Any thoughts?

Most common faults with dishwashers is a drain fault. Check for any kinked hoses and check the drain spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects into the u bend. Usually this is where food gets trapped due to the spigot not being drille ... Miele 23 in. Novotronic G841 Built-In Dishwasher

Water was standing in bottom at end of last 2 cycles, but on the last cycle, I came home to clean looking dishes, standing water, and a machine that won't turn on at all- no lights on any buttons- nothing works. I've tried the reset codes published here and elsewhere, but there are no lights on any buttons at all. The circuit breaker is fine.
