I have a hotpoint HDA2000G00WW built in dishwasher. The dishwasher does not run unless you press the plastic door under the latch area. I have adjusted the latch and that does not resolve the problem. I notice that the top three screws that hold the plastic eschucion are no longer holding as the plastic screw areas have broken on the eschucion. Do I need to replace the eschucion or can it be tightened some other way?

How do I remove the main conduit on my GE Triton XL dishwasher? The cover inlet that traps food from going down the drain somehow came off and clogged up the drain. I got the drain cleared but cannot get the cover back on and need to move the main conduit (pipe connecting lower and upper arms) before I can get it on. Anyone know before I spend too much $ finding someone to fix it?

Kitchenaid dishwasher - small pieces of food are left on otherwise clean dishes. Water level comes to about 1 inch below heater coil. I ran it without dishes (or soap) and added about a quart of water so that level came to about 1/4 inch below heater and that's when I noticed food pieces on drain surfaces (nylon filter under bottom spray arm unit and circular plastic "trap" surrounding it). Spray arms holes are clear and water is hot.

It sounds as if you figured the solution out. The holes in the spray arm(s) get plugged by small debris, (tooth picks, seeds, bits of plastic like candy wrappers, etc) and the water does not reach the dishes to wash and rinse effective ... Dishwashers

Kitchenaid kudc03fvss0 dishwasher stopped mid cycle without drying dishes last week and then stopped altogether with lights flashing and full basin. I disassembled filter/pump cover in bottom and cleared several plastic pieces and cleaned chopping blade and screen. After unplugging/plugging and pressing cancel button the pump runs for about 10 seconds and stops with normal and heavy duty lights flashing. What should I check next?

I have a Miele G 863 SC VI. Among the other problems I have had since installing - many of which seem very common - I have recently noticed that the rinse aid does not seem to be dispensing. When I try to top up it appears to be full and starts to overflow. I have mixed results with washes - seems I need a new fill valve.

We have a Bosch Model SKT5102GB/07 and the problem is as follows; we load the dirty washing and start the washing process, the machine then goes through the full cycle of wash. Once finished you open the door and notice that the washing is still dirty and a large pool of water is laying in the bottom of the machine. We have had an independent engineer look at the machine and he has advised that the pump needs changing. Look forward to your reply, thank you. Regards Michael Ballard.
