Hello,I hope you can answer the question below for me. My dishwasher is a Hotpoint model BFI680 - integrated. I want to replace the old interlocking assembly with a new one as the spring has broken and I can not close the dishwasher door. I have trouble removing the old interlocking assembly though. I can not see any screws that keep it into place as with other models. Instead, it looks like that it is "clipped" to the dishwasher door via the two inner side round holes at the bottom. Tried to re

Our Amana ADB1500AWW dishwasher leaks at far left and far right edges ( at bottom points) of the inside door panel due to a design flaw. ie - In the fully open position ( door in horizontal position) the far left and far right edges (at bottom) of inside plastic door panel are stressed beyond what the plastic can withstand consequently the edges of the panel crack as far as 3 inches from edge to inside. This crack is very small and cannot be seen until the panel is removed and then full insp

We removed the dishwaser 3 months ago for renovations. It has been reinstalled (everything looks ok). However, app. 2 min. into the cycle the door pops open. Eventually the cycle completes but only by pressing the door closed and hitting restart button 2 or 3 times per cycle. With the constant door popping there is considerable condensation on the new cabintry. What can we look for to fix this proble. thank you.

Code F2 I just replaced the door switch on an inoperable DD-602. My top drawer was working fine, but my bottom one has been offline for a while (door switch failed and I never got around to fixing it since I had the top). Well, my top finally failed too so I replaced both switches. Looks like everything is good on the top, but my bottom is erroring with an F2 code now. Kindof makes a thumping noise as it starts the cycle -- maybe 3-5 short thumps and then a 10 second delay, repeats. Any ideas? C

One possible solution to your problem could be as follows... Could have been little regular soap or something put in that made it suds up causing it to leak out of the front and sometimes not to drain all water out. Pouring vegetable oil into the dis ... Whirlpool ADG993, door fault: Hi, a few weeks ago soemthing broke on the door to my diswasher and it falls open wide with no stopping half way as usual. That was fine as the machine could still work, but now the door won't close. All seems fine until you get all but closed and then the door raises slightly from the bottom right corner, preventing it from closing. It looks like something may be jammed in there which pushes the door up at the last minute. There's a man coming out on Friday,

Kenmore model#587(Frigidaire) leaks under door. New install. Had machine for a year plus before install. took off front panel- can see water squirting past lower door gasket as wash arms rotate. cause is water running down door during wash cycle piles up in the channels molded into the lower left & right side of the wash tub and pushes out the sides of the lower gasket. looks like a design issue- called SEARS, they just want to sell me a new gasket! go figure. any ideas on a fix?

It does sound like an inner door seal ,however If you get upset at Sears and complain they may help you as they say the squeaky hinge gets the oil..And with Sears the more you squeak the better your chances of results ...Good Luck ... Dishwashers

I have LG dishwasher for 2 years now. Working perfectly until one day one glass gets broken during washing cycle. Immideatly we get EO error. We check possible reason of error in the manual then decided to try to fix ourself. We open bottom cover and drain outcoming part. Immideatly we discover a piece of glass that was preventing a small plastic piece to rotate. We remove that piece of glass. Put back covers and machine. We connected it back to outlets and run it. All was working again !!! This

Our Phillips SL2000 dishwasher (~20 years old?) has a leak from the door right hand bottom end when its splashing. The seals appear to be OK to touch and slightly pressing the door inwards does not reduce the leak. What could be the reason and is it worth repairing? The inside looks really good for its age and I am trying to extend its life at least a few years with minimal cost. Please advise.

When one of the sprayer arms develops a leak and sprays water in a downward direction toward the bottom of the door it can leak because it's not made to be sprayed on the seal in that direction. You might get wet but hold the arms still and watch for ... Dishwashers

Bosch KGV2620GB/03 Hi, I have a Bosch KGV2620GB/03 fridge freezer (bottom freezer, free-standing, the product listed below isn't right) and the light in the fridge won't switch off when the door closes.
