Our dishwasher had to be removed. In reconnecting it to the water supply under the sink, the plumber could not keep it from leaking. I think there was a rubber washer that got lost during the disconnect/connect procedure. He then proceeded to gut off the end of the PEX hose which has a ridge and the last 1/2 inch is a little smaller than the hose. Now he says we need to order a new PEX hose from the factory. The PEX hose is too big to fit into the fitting. Cannot a normnal flex hose for thi

Hello there, I have a Bosch Logixx dishwasher which I purchased just over 2 years ago. My upper dishwasher tray is not fitting properly into the hose pipe holes on the inside of the back wall of the dishwasher. It has a movable plastic mechanism sort of fitting which is dropping off everytime I open the tray to keep the utensils and unable to close it fully until I re-adjust the plastic to fit into the holes proeperly and then it works. I am not sure how to fix the problem, do I need an En

Hello, my Hoover D7610 dishwasher has developed a problem, I would appreciate your advice. On starting a wash it appears to be working OK through what I believe to be a rinse cycle but then after about 20 minutes water pours out from the bottom of the door. Manually clicking the timer-programer forward stops the leaking but the machine needs manual advancement except for the last 2 cycles when the timer seems to work OK. After the 1st cycle there is no more water leaking from the machine but all

I am an Australian who has bought a second hand Defy Dishmaid dishwasher from a South African work mate. It is a 2/3 year old machine that he bought over from South Africa. When he moved into a new house the machine did not fit his kitchen bench opening much to his frustration so he sold it. When placed in my kitchen it was a tight fit and upon recent inspection the floor pan of the unit, it may have buckled. It worked well until recently when we did some renovations when I needed to remove

I have an old Bauknecht dishwasher GSF 3160 S that a friend gave us 10 years ago. It was stored for that time, and now if I try to use it, it leaks out through the bottom and floods the kitchen. I would like to know 1) is it worth fixing from the point of view of how energy/water efficient (or inefficient) an old dishwasher is - if you know the specs for this particular machine, and 2) what needs to be changed if it is worthwhile fixing. I don't know what else might not work, because I only pu

Maytag My Maytag dishwasher is leaking from the bottom. It is a mdbh940aww. it was never used before. It was wrapped in the plastic wrap when I bought the house in 2005. Now the old one just went and I want to put this one in. It fit nicely, works great but leaks all over the floor. It is level and I check most of the parts. I put a mirror underneath and it looks like the rubber thing isnt looking too good. Do I replace this? If so how?

My small boy fell on my open dishwasher door (Bosch) and now it's opening slightly in mid cycle and cutting off. It's not leaking or anything and works perfectly if I clamp it closed. When it's opened down then, it's very slightly slanted downwards. I have taken it 2 a repair shop twice and they've failed to sort it saying that its the sensor may need to be replaced but I think it's the hinges are strained. What should I do?

Once the "start" is pressed, the "reset" option on the same button will not turn it off. This dishwasher is in a new place we're buying, and we're not ready to run a whole cycle to see if the machine works because there's a minor plumbing repair needed under the sink which can't be done till the closing, and there could be a leak. Meanwhile the two green lights and beeping can't be turned off.

Just un-plug it for now,....then of coarse when you can run it plug it back in for test,....ya never know, just un-plugging it could very well reset itself and work fine. this is the way with alot of the newer things,....good luck ... GE GLD5800L Dishwasher

I have a Hotpoint Super Plus dishwasher 7820. It worked well for a long time. Towards the end of the cycle it leaks a lot of water from the underside of the door, so it seems. I have fitted a new door seal. No success. What may be the cause?

The door seal has to be in a proper position completely around the door (including the bottom area of the door). If not, it will leak. Also, there are two black corner baffles/seals (located in each front corner inside the tub area) that may also b ... Hotpoint Dishwashers

Hi _ We have a Stoves DW616 dishwasher which has started leaking water on filling from around the front door. The BGas engineer replaced the seals around the door with those from a Hygena which he said were the same and it worked fine for a few days and then a further deluge. He has now said there is a seal at the base of the door (just about invisible) and although he got a further Hygena seal this would not fit and he says that as it's obsolete the machine should be written off. Dishwasher leaking We bought our dishwasher in Sep/07, it was fine for a year, then started leaking out the bottom of the door on the left. We had the seal on the door replaced (didn't work) and then the door gasket replaced. That worked for less than a year, now it is leaking again in the same place. What could be going on? Have already put $400.00 repairs into this machine and am reluctant to put more money in to have it break again the same way. What do you suggest?

This sounds like a hinge problem to start with.\015\012\015\012Test the seal by dragging a strip of paper through it with door closed. KUDS30 leaking my kitchenaid dishwasher (about 1 1/2 years old) had a leak bottom left side and had gasket replaced. It worked well for approx another 6-9 months without any leaks and now the same problem is back. The dishwasher isn't overloaded. A repair person came last week and ran the dishwasher empty and it didn't leak when she was here. The 2 loads after continue to leak approx 2 cups of water each cycle.

My GSD900G-01 dishwasher leaks where the hot water is supposed to go into the tub. There's a plastic fitting that seems to be glued to the side of the tub and the hose from the inlet valve goes to the top of this fitting. Hey Everyone! Ok try this one! I have been working on a KUDS25 Kitchenaid Dishwasher. It was leaking like a siv from the bottom.
