Not enough water in machine

\015 Not enough water is entering dishwasher\015

Answers :

Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is\015\012open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water\015\012inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water\015\012valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel,\015\012on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

My Kenmore Elite dishwasher doesn't wash dishes properly. I think that it is not getting enough water in the machine. It only allows about an inch of water to get into machine and then starts. I do not think that there is enough water to spin wash arms. I have 40 PSI coming into the house. I am on well water and found debris in the intake orfice. I did my best to flush. Could it still be bad?

My Frigidaire FDB935RHS0 top rack is not getting enough water (pressure) to rotate the top rack sprayer. We have looked at all the connections under the machine as well as the tubing, but we have not found any obstructions or problems. The water moves very slowly up the tube to the top of the machine and the water only seems to trickle out of the feed line therefore the sprayer doesn't spin or spray. We have disassembled the bottom sprayer and have found no obstructions there either. Do you have

The water is not draining from machine, although the pump is obviously trying. It doesn't sound quite right. Kind of a growling noise. It can pump water into tubs when experimenting with ideas, but can't pump hard enough to pump the water into the sink. This is all done with the hose removed so we could check for debris in the line. I've checked the filters and they are clean and clear. This is a used machine a friend gave me, and it's been working beautifully until now.

I have an zanussi LS6 and in the display it on and off shows the A1 and B2 and spills water. The problem though is not what normally comes with A1 and B2. Somehow the water gets to electrical parts and all power is out in the café. Several experts that has been to see the machine clame it has something to do with the electrical system - that measueres when there is enough water. They say it has something to do with machine having the salt container and they have all given up repairing it. I boug

It appears that there is not enough water pressure through the sprayers to to wash food 'deposits' off the plates and dishes. We have well water and it has a some what high lime content so I suspact that there is some calcium / lime clogging in the machine. The dishwasher takes water in (not to much as when you open the door later, there is hardly water visible) and then it sounds as if it is busy heating the water. Then all of a suddden it will trip the power switch on the distribution board. My impression is that it is not takingin enough water and the heating part causes the trip failure. Your comments and advice to resolve will be aapreciated. Planning to open it up this weekend (machine not that old)

Dishwasher is 16 months old. Recently, it won't get tea stains from spoons or cups and there is a white film on plastics. I have run unit once with vinegar. I tried using less detergent and no change (Cascade Complete). (Neighbors using same detergnet on different machine with no problems so it's not the water.) I always select High water temp and air dry on normanl wash. My hunch is that the motor is going bad and therefore it is not pushing the water with enough force.

I have a three-year-old Sears Kenmore Elite dishwasher. I find that despite the fact that we scrape and rinse our dishes before loading the machine, after each three months of use (two loads a day) or so, I have to take the machine apart (spray tower, racks, bottom impeller, bottom screen housing, food grinder cover) and clean-out the food grinder area, for it fills-up with sludge. The sludge restricts the water flow and there isn't enough flow to turn the impellers via that steering jets.

Two days ago it started to "stall" in one cycle and not progress to the next, e.g., stayed in the wash cycle and would not move on to rinse. In addition the heat generated in the machine was way below normal. A repairman told me that if the water doesn't get hot enough, the unit will not move on to the next cycle. I always use the "Regular Wash" option, but tried other options such as 'Economy
