If you open the kick plate, you'll see the pan below the motor and check for leaks. The leaks will trigger the sensor to pump water out. Once you dry out the pan, the pump motor will stop and you should be able to reset the program.
I had a tech come out because my viking dishwasher would not turn off he said the main motor circulation is leaking water and needs to be replaced

Clean light comes on my Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Model # 665.17263. This happened once before and has to do with the heating element. I actually don't know what type of Bosch I have. I know that is a problem, but maybe you can still help. It has a simple panel that says: Pot Scrubber, regular wash, quick wash, rinse and hold. When I turn on quick wash, sometimes it says 38 min. 45 min. 56 min. We want to keep it at 38 minutes and we don't know why it varies. If we have to open it mid-cycle, it switches to a higher cycle time. How do we set it for 38?

When I start the top drawer it defaults to 5 minutes (with the lights Heavy, Fast, Rinse highlighted) runs for a couple minutes, then stops and the LED starts randomly cycling through all kinds of codes very quickly. There is water in the tub that has not drained after completing the couple minutes of operation. This cycle repeats itself if I hit the power button again after the LED starts freaking out. I have a similar problem to another person. The drain on the dish drawer was blocked. The unit now shows an F1 error code ( flood?) and the pump runs continuously even after I've unblocked everything. I've tried switching it off for ages and drying everything out. When I switch it on again it shows the wash programme but then reverts to F1 and the pump motor runs continuously. Any ideas to cancel the F1 code?

After selecting rinse only or normal wash and pressing/holding the start/reset button down for several seconds to reset the unit the drain pump comes on for approx 90 seconds as advertised.
