Kenmore model#587(Frigidaire) leaks under door. New install. Had machine for a year plus before install. took off front panel- can see water squirting past lower door gasket as wash arms rotate. cause is water running down door during wash cycle piles up in the channels molded into the lower left & right side of the wash tub and pushes out the sides of the lower gasket. looks like a design issue- called SEARS, they just want to sell me a new gasket! go figure. any ideas on a fix?

It does sound like an inner door seal ,however If you get upset at Sears and complain they may help you as they say the squeaky hinge gets the oil..And with Sears the more you squeak the better your chances of results ...Good Luck ... Dishwashers

I noticed water leaking underneath my dishwasher through the floor joists to my basement. It was a small but steady drip through the joists. I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.

This is probably the line that goes from the water inlet valve on the bottom of the dishwasher up to the valve leading into the dishwasher itself. It is probably a black corrugated rubber line. This is an extremely bad design, but the solution is s ... Frigidaire 24 in. PLD2850 Built-in Dishwasher

Our Kemore dishwasher is leaking water onto floor, and the water valve continues to pour water when machine was turned off, but is not leaking water now. There is also standing water at bottom of tub from running machine last night. Can I test to see if it is fill valve or the overfill float? Are these easily replaced?

We are having a problem with our LG Dishwasher. The machine is washing for about half an hour and then will stop and report an E1 error. According to the user manual this means "Water leakage in Hose connection" or "Water is leaked by damages". We have checked the diswasher's water connections and can't see any water leaking out. We have also cleaned the filers and checked the spray arms but that has not made any diffrence. Any suggestions what this error means and what we can try to resolve it

Are you sure the water is coming from underneath the dishwasher? From the symptoms you described, this sounds like it could be caused by a worn door seal. Over time, these seals compress to the point where they no longer seal correctly, or food part ... Maytag 24 in. MDB4100 Built-in Dishwasher

I have a Miele 24 in. G638 Plus Free-standing Dishwasher which is leaking into the pan underneath the machine (and triggering the polystyrene float switch) I am almost certain that the leak is coming from the main pump seal. Is it feasible to replace the seal (it looks like a major job to take the pump assembly apart). I guess Miele labor charges would make the repair not worthwhile Is there a service manual for this machine. I guess I would need it

My KitchenAid Model KUDE70FXSS 2 dishwasher is new to us today and has never been used before. It was hooked up professionally, but I assumed it would work, so tonight when I tried to run it, it lights up on panel, but it won't run any cycles. It will start putting water in the machine, but then cuts off. It starts making a grinding noise underneath the machine, and it clicks like it is trying to work, but the water doesn't wash. Hmmm. Anyone know what to do?

Dishwasher sounds like it is running normally, (no grinding sounds or anything)but there doesn't appear to be any water coming into the machine. we checked to see if there was a kink in the line or if perhaps it was a plumbing problem but that does not seem to be the case. I know the circular disk in the front of the machine needs to be down and it is, so can you figure out without seeing for yourself what could be the problem and if so is it worth fixing since I can probably replace it for und

We recently bought a house with a Kenmore 363.16222100 (?) dishwasher. No manual. Monday night it didn't drain properly and leaked some water on the kitchen floor. The cycle had finished when we saw the water on the floor. We bailed out the excess water. I took off the drain cover and insert. I couldn't see an obvious clog problem, but cleaned it out. Then I tried a short cycle, interrupting it to shorten it. No problem. Water seemed to drain fine. I did find a part that looked like a straw and

Leaking dishwasher i have an 8yr old hoover dishwasher & it leaks on the rinse cycle. It's coming from underneath on the left hand side as you look at it. I've checked the hoses & clips on hoses, which seem ok. It only leaks as the water is coming into the machine on the rinse cyle. Never any other time, not even when it's filling for the wash cycle!
