Rinse aid is no longer being used up in my Whirlpool ADP5966. The level shows it as full despite about 10 washes since I last filled it. Dishes are noticably not washing as well as before.

You need a new water inlet valve. You are probably only getting half as much water as it takes to clean and properly rinse your dishes. Call or email us and we'll be sure to get the right part out to you right away.

I own a Bosch dishwasher. It is about 5 years old. In the last year I have noticed that is isn't cleaning well and that there is a white residue on all the dishes and especially on the inside of the dishwasher. I poured a whole gallon of white vinegar into the dishwasher about a month ago and let it run the whole cycle without dishes. Since then the white residue has deminished, but now the dishes are not clean when I run the dishwasher. I notice the white residue mostly on the silverware w

I have a Maytag MDB8951bws and I have noticed that the dishes at the end of the cycle do not feel hot but mildly warm and not completely dry. I also noticed that when I select the ''Sanitize'' option the light that tells you the dishes have completed being sanitized does not come on after the cycles are completely finished (the ''clean'' light does come on). One last note I will throw in is that the high temp wash seems to work quite well as a lot of steam is expelled when the door is opened dur

After the last wash I noticed the bottom of my dishwasher (Whirlpool quiet partner 2) was filled with water. After unloading the dishes I closed the dishwasher and pushed the Cancel/Drain button but the button didn't work. None of the buttons work. It's as if the dishwasher became unplugged. I looked at the nearest outlet beneath the sink, but did not find anything unplugged. I wasn't able to drag the dishwasher out of its area beneath the counter by myself and figured I better ask first be

My KichenAid KUDS011 has functioned well until this morning. When I push any of the buttons on the keypad, nothing happens. I noticed there is still water in the bottom of the dishwasher from the last dish washing. Also, I've heard there is a screen or similar part in the bottom of the dishwasher that needs to be cleaned occasionally. I haven't figured out how to remove the bottom center of the dishwasher to access this for cleaning.

After running our dishes through a wash cycle we noticed there was still a lot of food stuck on the plates & glasses etc. We cleaned out the trap but due to the murky water in the well, we also pulled out the racks & removed the bottom plate. The underside was greasy and had a lot of grim stuck to it as well as the bottom of the drawer itself. We washed the filter trap, swing arm and plate in the sink. We loaded it with the dishes that previously did not come clean and ran a full cycle. The

When starting a wash cycle it pumps out the remaining water as usual. It fills normally but does not pump/wash the dishes. It continues to heat and when first noticed it seemed to have gone through the complete cycle but didn't wash. The detergent door had opened and the soap pack dropped out but it never dissolved. The dishes were extremely hot too. Is the same pump used to both drain the washer and wash the dishes?

We have run our dish washer several times, however, the dishes are not getting cleaned. We first ran it on "normal wash." The second and third time we ran it on "pots and pans." Not only are the dishes not getting cleaned, but the soap is hardly getting dissolved. We use liquid dish soap too. I noticed this last time, at the end of the wash, the soap was getting built up on the front-right (when facing the machine) and had turned into a solid clump; almost like plaster. I don't have a manual so

My sound conditioned Whirlpool dishwasher is real old. It fills up completely with water. It looks like it will overflow, so I stop it. I thought it always started washing from the start. Do they always fill completely up with water, then start washing. I never noticed. I am afraid the water will overflow. Can it? Last time I ran this, it had a real loud motor. I used to hear the motor running from the start, but now I don't, just water filling up to what looks like overflow if I let it. I baile

Subject is Bosch dishwasher SHU6800. There is a soap residue left on dishes. Residue is not visible. There is noticeable soap bubbling and foam in the second glass. Dishwasher fills tub continuously until float turns it off whether in cyle, during drying or after cyle complete. That means during drying when the dishwasher is trying to dry the dishes the tub fills up preventing drying. This is a new dishwasher that I've never used. I allways noticed the tub was full of water, but thought that was just to keep the seals moist so they don't rot. I've been in my house 5 years and only hand washed my dishes because it was more convienient. Now that there ar

We have been using this model since Sept. 2007.When new, it worked very well. It has over time, performed less then we would expect. Not only do we have to scrub dishes by hand before placing them into washer, they some times require hand washing after being washed by machine. Not only are they dirty, the glasses are covered with a cloudy white film. We have not done any maintenance or service to this dish washer. Does this washer require some sort of service or attention. Please advise. Thanks

My dishwasher stopped cleaning my dishes when it was just under 2 years old. I hadn't changed the type of detergent, or how I loaded/ran it. We have since tried different detergents and different wash cycles to no avail. If I want to use the dishwasher, I must first completely rinse off any food--and I cannot load dishes as tightly as I used to be able to. Yesterday I noticed that a dish in the back left corner--bottom rack was completely untouched---the residue was as if I had put it in the

Our maytag is about ten years old. No big problems that a little vinegar wouldn't solve once in awhile. Lately, we ran out of water softener salt and a white film was on dishes and not getting clean. I filled the water softener again, and did the vinegar wash, which helped a little. Now dishes not getting clean. I got desperate and did an empty load with CLR in it. Still, not effective. Normal wash cycle- tub fills (?), then comes a loud hummmm and nothing happens. I noticed water level didn't reach heater coil and added water until limiter switch clicked. Still just a loud hummmm. Hi, we have a Neff dishwasher and noticed a couple of days ago that it took hours longer than usual for the dishwasher to complete its cycle. Last night after the machine had been on for about 4 hours we checked and although there was some water at the bottom of the machine it had not started to wash the dishes although we had heard noises coming from the machine. It didnt create any problems but would smell after a few days. So we would just run the drain cycle and it would empty. Well i got home to and the wife said the it was really full. We have a Sears Ultra Wash III dishwasher, model 665.1677993, bought in October, 1995. It is not filling with enough water to get the dishes clean. I took the water valve out and looked at it and it seems okay. It doesn't look like the valve is opening all the way - just my guess. A small stream of water comes out with good pressure, but it is a small stream. I can't find any screens or filters in the water line coming in. The fill cycle lasts only about a minute. Is that adequate? Steve
