I have a brand new whirlpool DU1055XTV5 dishwasher, installed two days ago. After the cycle completes there is about 1/2" clean standing water left in the bottom. It is not just down in the well area, the whole bottom is covered with water. This is after running a normal cycle with no other options such as sanitize or heat dry. I called Lowes, the store that sold/installed it, and they said this is normal in new dishwashers to keep the parts wet. They said as long as the water does reach th

We recently installed a Kenmore dishwasher, Mfr Model# 13943. We have used the dishwasher approximately six times since Thanksgiving. Each time, after the wash cycle is complete, when we open the door, water has collected on the interior of the door, and water remains standing on some of the washed dishes. Is this normal?

Help! My Whirlpool Quiet Partner II isn't working at all. Water was standing in bottom at end of last 2 cycles, but on the last cycle, I came home to clean looking dishes, standing water, and a machine that won't turn on at all- no lights on any buttons- nothing works. I've tried the reset codes published here and elsewhere, but there are no lights on any buttons at all. The circuit breaker is fine. I have 3 young kids and can't function long without my dishwasher!

We have a Whirlpool ADP962 Dishwasher that will not fill. I replaced the inlet hose as I thought the solenoid was faulty. It's gone a step further and now sounds like it fills (continuously) however it soon drains without any water entering the dishwashing compartment (this remains dry). I believe this issue was caused by running it through a cycle without the water mains turned on. Any ideas?

Hi.When you say inlet hose I think you are referring to the inlet valve, which has a built in solenoid. The inlet hose is only the rubber hose connected to valve and faucet.Rather than the hose the problem is likely overfill d ... Whirlpool 24 in. DP840D Free-standing Dishwasher

Whirlpool Quiet Wash Plus dishwasher Model DU920PFGZ3. Worked fine until I replaced the insinkerator and forgot to punch the drain plug leaving water standing on the bottom of the machine. I punched the drain opening, and pushed the cancel/drain cycle button. It drained fine but since no water comes from the spray arms. I have removed the arm all the way down..NOTHING!! Some research indicated it could be the water inlet valve. When the buttons are pushed, it cycles but no spray or water.

Dishwasher not emptying at the end of its cycle. If water siphoned out will work temporarily then fails again, with water remaining standing inside machine. Check water indicator light is on, goes off when water siphoned off, then comes on again when machine again fails to drain

Not sure of your light indicator; check the manual. But fyi there should be a little water left in, so the rubber seal doesn't dry out. More than that, and could be clogged drain or bad solenoid, which tells it to open and drain. See: http://www.part ... Bosch 24 in. SGS45E02 / SGS45E08 Exxcel Free-standing Dishwasher

Whirlpool dishwasher: Model DU920PWKT0; 8 years old Lately, have noticed not full drainage of water at end of cycle... about 1 inch standing (thus 2 inches at the sump). When I interrupted the cycle, the water on the bottom was soapy, yet no new soap had been introduced. I even colored the water "left" in the tub to see if it was replaced by fresher water. I have no power to the dishwasher. I tried the circuit breaker, flipped it. No lights on, nothing.
