Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

Clean light comes on my Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Model # 665.17263. This happened once before and has to do with the heating element. The service guy showed me how to press the buttons in a certain sequence to "unstick" the unit and it worked fine. The Quick Rinse light keeps flashing. When I push a previous sequence recommendation it switched to pots n pans and Quick Rinse and Cancel all started blinking. Then in about 2 minutes went back to Quick rinse. I did one sequence and it started to d

DWI612C wash cycle runs on and on and on. Believing to be a problem with water heating I tried putting a couple large pan fulls of boiling water into machine during wash cycle and this did move it on from wash to rinse. How do I replace the heating element I cant see it it is not in the dish washing compartment? I dont want to call out a repair agent as one can probably buy a new machine for what that will cost. Thank you.

Long cycles My dishwasher (approx 7 years old) will run in the wash cycle for hours...until I physically turn the nob to "rinse"; then it will stay in that cycle until I advance the knob to the final (expel water) stage. I checked the filter and the blades - no obstructions. Also, when completed, the dishes are hot, so I know the heating element is working.

Several people have posted this problem with the Frigidaire Ultra Quiet 111, but I have seen no solutions. When it is set to wash without extra heat, it cycles normally. But when the extra-heat wash and extra-heat rinse are selected, then it gets stuck first mid-wash at the 7 o'clock position, and if it is manually advanced then it gets stuck again during the rinse cycle just before the 9 o'clock drying position. Both the wash and rinse thermostats have been replaced without solving the problem.

Dishwasher runs for appx 14 min & stops washing half way thru wash cycle. Timer contunies to run. No drain pump out (nothing). Let dishwasher set idle for appx 1 hour and it will re-set. Set timer forward to end of wash cycle and it will complete rinse and final rinse. Then go to dry. Timer works ok.

This sounds like something is stuck in the drain pump. You can remove the inner cover to look for obstructions. You have a dual purpose motor it does the both circulating and draining. The blockage is causing it to overheat and trip the thermal prote ... Whirlpool DU840CWD Dishwasher
