Having problems with your Whirlpool 24 in. DU930PWP Built-in Dishwasher ?

Soap dipenser My whirlpool built-in dishwasher model DU930PWPB0 serial # FR4104078. The door to the soap dispenser will not open. I have been washing the dishes with the door open all the time. When I close it(door) it won't pop open when it should. to dispense the soap in the wash cycle.

Answers :

Try this... Wipe out the soap dish with white vinegar and a soft cloth.. make sure you get everything off the edges of the door and look for any nicks, blemishes or deformation of the dispenser door to make sure it is not mechanically binding up when it is cycled open. If Ok.. then.. clean your drain filter.. then.. start a wash cycle using the hottest setting ( without any dishes) .. and after about 10 minutes or so.. stop the process and open the door and add in 2 cups of white vinegar.. Let it complete the wash cycle.. When complete..try running a dishless cycle on any setting with detergent ( use about 1/3 less than you usually use) and see if that dispense adequately. If that works, then the next time you load the washer. make sure you don't have anything up against or limiting the door from opening. Hope this helps..

Frigidaire dishwasher won't end cycle - will run on and on for hours. Sometimes it cycles through, usually it just endlessly washes and rinses. I have to CANCEL the cycle, which causes the dishwasher to empty and run a few RINSE ONLY cycles (which are consistent, cycle time wise) to rinse the soap off of the dishes. Also, the door for the soap seems to stick - how long into the cycle before the soap door should open? Also, does opening the washer during it's cycle (to add more dishes) change or

My soap cap remains in the closed position at all times. The clasp mechanism works fine, if I cycle through with the door open I can see and hear the catch release when it should. But the door remains closed at all times. I leave it open to run, and sometimes it's closed when the wash cycle finishes! Is there an easy way to take the cap off and clean it? Or do I need to WD-40 around it?

Item: Whirlpool Ultra Dishwasher Age: 3 yrs Problem: Not enough water to effectively wash the dishes. State: When the dishwasher is started, the fill valve opens as normal. Hi. My problem is with my dishwasher detergent dispenser. It does open (at least it is open at completion of cleaning cycle), appears to deliver soap to dishes (as they appear clean), however, from the dispenser to the bottom of the door, there remains a very large amount of soap residue after wash is complete. This residue only continues to build up after each wash? The dispenser does not appear to be clogged and also appears to be delivering soap to dishes so I am not sure what to check for

When starting a wash cycle it pumps out the remaining water as usual. It fills normally but does not pump/wash the dishes. It continues to heat and when first noticed it seemed to have gone through the complete cycle but didn't wash. The detergent door had opened and the soap pack dropped out but it never dissolved. The dishes were extremely hot too. Is the same pump used to both drain the washer and wash the dishes?

Cranky dishwasher I have to admit my wife's solution is the only one that works. Our ten-year-old Superba built-in usually starts a normal cycle part-way through, at the wash part, without filling or opening the dispenser door. Therefore the dishes come out with the soil now baked on. Closing the door, selecting normal and start results in a pump-out sound, or at least just the pump running to wash the dishes. I just bought a used Kenmore standalone dishwasher and ran it for the first time. The dishes on the top did not get clean and the soap did not come out of the closed soup dish. at one point I took a shower and was wondering if that might have influenced the water pressure enough to cause the problem. Is the soap supposed to open during the wash and could the poor water pressure prevent the top shelf from getting properly washed?

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher that's just over 1 year old and I use it a couple times a week. I turned it on last night and went in another room. appox 30 minutes later my daughter came in and noticed the soap suds all over the kitchen floor, the inside was all sudzy. It was in the wash cycle so I turned it off just by opening the door for overnight and restarted this morning and after about 20 minutes (still in the wash cycle) the suds started oozing out so I that's where I'm at now. Thanks.
