I have been interacting with Daniel about my Dishwasher Smart Dispenser problem. The last thing he had to say to me was that I needed to replace my drain pump. Before doing this, I would like an explanation of why a new drain pump will solve my problem since my dishwasher is draining just fine...it is my Smart DIspenser that is clogged up and not working ?? I have a Frigidaire dishwasher. Model FDB520RHS0, Serial TH92539147. The drum fills with water but will not drain. I purchased the unit about 2 years ago. It has been used sparingly and mostly on light wash. I removed the basket and could find nothing blocking the drain. Is there a fix? Can I replace the drain pump? The unit is making a noise as if it is trying to drain but nothing is happening. I have checked the drain line for clogs and it is clear and the terminal end is conn

So I found this power washer for sale. The seller claims that the washer generates a good stream of water, not just full power. He also mentions that after a few minutes the engine starts to bog down like it is working extra hard. Does this sound like a pump issue? Could something be clogged or would the pump need to be replaced? Or should I avoid this power washer?

Don't buy a power that doesn't work. There are many expensive parts on a power washer. If it was cheap and simple to fix, the seller would fix it and the washer would not be for sale.Would you buy a car that doesn't work? Especially ... Pressure Washers

GE Dishwasher model PDW8200J03BB stopped draining. Removed the drain pump, checked with Voltmeter and there is resistance on ohms X10 of about 3. The flap is in place so water isn't shooting back into the sump inlet. Replaced the sump inlet about 6 months ago because it was deteriorated due to hard water. Pump worked fine after that. Checked drain hoses and air gap. Was able to blow water through. Pump only trickles water out at air gap. Does the pump need replaced?

OE Error We have LG dishwasher which gives an OE error. This was an error 6 months ago and this was under warranty. They had to change the pump. Now it is not under warranty. I checked for clogging in the drain pipe where it connects to the garbage disposal. Could not find a problem. This dishwasher is nothing but trouble. Any ideas/suggestions?

You do not have an "OE" error, it is actually a "DE" error. (Drain error) If after 5 minutes of drain time the pump motor RPM's haven't gone up the dishwasher knows that there is still water in the tub and throws the "DE" error. Often times the pro ... My SGS55M72AU/65 does not get rid of its drain water, although that wee pump in the bottom is clearly working (which I could see after removing filters and pump cover). There is no blockage near the drain pipe connection, so I infer there is a blockage somewhere inside the dishwasher, in a place I can't get to without further instruction. I've removed most of the drain water and pulled the unit out, so I could lay it on its side and start taking screws out. But I much prefer to have some guidanc

GE GHDA485N 10CS Dishwasher that has standing water in the bottom after the cycle completes. I pulled it out and reconnected power and ran a rinse cycle. I could see that water was pumping out the clear drain pipe but there was still about an inch of standing water in the bottom. Any thoughts as to what part has failed. Does the system use a water level switch or a timed drain cycle to determine when the water has pumped out. If it is a timed cycle could a slow drain cause the problem. Thank you

Bosch dishwasher SHX46A05UC/40 is making noise when draining. I have cleaned the screen and hose back to the drain and removed all debris. So it seem to be the 'drain pump'. Our kitchen drain clogged recently and water drained back into our VUD141 dishwasher. A plumber cleared the drain, and turned on the DW - which pumped out the standing water. The plumber who cleared the drain said he didn't DO dishwashers, and I cannot locate the owner's manual since we prepared for a move.
