Having problems with your Whirlpool ADP 8900 Dishwasher ?

Heat is escaping from my built in dishwasher ruining worktop

Answers :

When the appliance was installed there should of been a metalic paper looking strip that had a sticky back this should unpeeled and be stuck to the underside of the worktop and it will deflect the heat and steam away from your worktop. Sadly this will only get worse if not fitted as everytime the appliance finishes when the door is opened the steam will billow out onto the worktop.

In built dishwasher, Electrolux ESI6220, is not heating the water and therefor not washing the cutlery properly. What may be the problem and how does one remidy same?

You have to test the heating element with an ohm-meter. It should read very low ohms. If the element seems ok, you have to test the controller to see if it is powering the element (probably should be 120 volts) ... Electrolux Dishwashers

Hiya, I have a Bosch Dishwasher SGV4313GB that wont heat the water, it gets stuck with cold water continually washing (pre wash??) the delf. Its a built in and I have opened the inside metal panel and exposed the control unit (PCB) there is no blackened/loose soldered joint to be resoldered. I am at a loss as to what else in the heating circuit to look for. Can you point me in the direction of what I should look for next? Kind regards Mark

I own a GE Profile Built-in Dishwasher Model number is PDW7880G00SS, Serial number is FF7872828.  We have recently been having major cleaning issues with it, especially the top shelf i.e. the glasses.  There is always dried up debris on them.  We always run the water hot and run it on "added heat" cycle.  I was wondering if there is a filter, or an area in the dishwasher that needs to be cleaned out?  Even if I put perfectly clean dishes in there, they will come out dirty, which leads me to thin
