My dishwasher (Kenmore Elite 665) doesn't use up all the detergent in the detergent cup - it always leaves a little behind at the end of the cycle. the dishes don't get quite as clean any more, either. I recently replaced my old water heater - we were getting lots of little plastic pieces in our faucet screens. I'm guessing that the water pressure may be low, and that it may be due to the same problem. Is there a screen-type filter that filters the incoming water, before it enters th

I don't believe you have a screen at any water feed and doubt that would be the problem. Once the washer fills the pressure to the cleaning arms is provided by the pump itself. I have this issue every couple of months due to hard water and the calci ... Dishwashers

TV static I just installed a new dishwasher. When it is running, it causes static lines on the TV. Prior to the new dish washer, I did not have this problem. It is wired correctley, and not on the same circuit. As I stated I did not have this problem until the new dishwasher. I called the service people for the dishwasher, and they stated they could not help me. Have you got any ideas, or do they make some type of filter I can put on the line to the TV.

I have a BOSCH 8280 dishwasher which at the end of its cycle still has soapy water in the bottom of the machine. The dishes, and especially the cutlery, are left smeared and looking unfinished. I lifted out and cleaned the filter in the floor of the machine but the water still doesn't drain away. Are there any other filters etc which may be causing the problem? Any ideas. Thanks.

Since then the lights are on but wont go regardless of where the switch is set to. Have pulled the pump off and the inlet pipes and blown to remove any blockage but still no luck. Cant get into the water jet part due to connectors that require specfic tools to remove and replace. Any thoughts?? thanks in advance, Michael

I have a Kitchen Aid KUDS03CTSS3 dishwasher. Dirty water is staying at the bottom and nothing comes out the drain hose during the entire cycle. The drain hose is looped above the kitchen P-trap, although for a time it wasn't. I use a wet vac to get the water out but there is still water below the fine filter. I thought if I could get the fine filter off, I could clean out the bottom as I think that it's full of crud down there that may be blocking things. I can't figure out how to get the l

I have a Miele dishwasher and the filter assembly appears to be locked in position and cannot be removed. It appears as though the lever to unlatch it is hitting a stop before rotating sufficiently to allow for filter assy removal. Wife noted it may have been a bit difficult to reinstall just prior to this occurance. Any suggestions on root cause and solution?

Diswasher A couple of days ago my dishwasher would not start, there are lights on the front panel and it starts a washing programme but doesn't actually wash anything. I removed the filter from inside the dishwasher and it is full with water, it seems like there is a blokage somewhere. Would a blockage cause the diswasher not to start. Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

F2 Code Hey, I have a single drawer built in Fisher & Paykel dish drawer and today I pulled the spray arm, filter and large metal screen out to clean them as we have been starting to get a bit of stuff left behind after washing lately. That was all good After putting it all back in though I went to use the dishwasher and it stopped and came up with an F2 fault, I thought I may not have put the bits back in properly so pulled them out again and noticed that on the rotor that connects the motor to

Dishwasher (Whirlpool Model DU930PWQ0) won't pump out. Problem occurred after door was opened during a cycle. Then the pump-out function ceased to work. Washer fills and pumps correctly during the wash cycle. Any suggestions? My guess is that the electronic control may be faulty and it is not opening the solenoid valve for the drain cycle. Whirlpool dishwasher This dishwasher quit in the middle of a wash cycle,we had to empty it and wash by hand. I thought that maybe the breaker to the dishwasher popped but when checked it had not .I then noticed that there are no lights on the electronic key board .Even when not in use there should be one red LED that is lit. It almost seems as if there is no power to the dishwasher. Is there some type of backup safety switch or breaker on the dishwasher itself that I could reset?

My Hotpoit FDL570g dishwasher (that is less than 2 years old) is tripping the circuit breaker originally during a wash and now when the unit is switched off and and door is closed.
