Dishwasher 66513752K601 keeps blowing the thermal fuse. (Bi-Metal W10258275). I have replace the Thermal fuse several times. After i replace the fuse for some reason after a few months or less it will blow it out again. I have also replace the front panel assembly after it stopped working correctly. I would like to know how to test the dishwasher to find out the root cause of the fuse issue. I don't want to be replacing the fuse every time and don't have the $$ to buy a new dishwasher. I purchased a used Dishwasher KUDE70FVSS but it will not power on. I have checked the power up to the control panel. An earlier posting said to replace the thermal fuse. I don't have a wiring diagram so I don't know where to locate it or what it looks like. Thanks David

HI. This is true. There is a thermal fuse that will burn out under adverse conditions. This could be a power surge or element failure. This fuse is mounted in close proximity to the main board. Both parts are housed within the control panel. The actu ... KitchenAid Dishwashers

Thermal fuse Dishwasher konked out mid-cycle and now no power to control pad. We've already had the thermal fuse replaced once (machine is only 2 years old!) and this appears to be the same issue. I tried to open the front and I think I can see where it is but not sure how to get it out and replace it AGAIN. I wasn't able to get the inside panel completely apart from the front of the unit so I was somewhat limited. I'd rather save the service charge if I can and there's n

We replaced thermal fuse (inc all wires), worked for about 2 months. Replaced thermal fuse again, ran it 2x's, 2nd X it broke. We have a new thermal fuse on hand, but need some advice on what could be causing the problems. When the dishwasher does work, it cleans as if new.

Probably a bad heating element, You may want to change that to before replacing the fuse again. ... Dishwashers

I have a Whirlpool DU1055XTSS dishwasher that completely stopped working. I took it apart, found the thermal fuse to be bad, ordered a new, then replaced it and it worked for 2 loads. Now the thermal is open again. What could be "taking it out"? Is the thermal fuse strictly a thermal or does it repsond to current? It's 2 years old, i have already replaced the heating element, the main control board, and now the thermal....twice.

My Whirlpool GU2400XTP dishwasher keeps blowing the fuse. It sat up for 6months because the control panel went out and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Finally replaced the panel and the thermal fuse blew during the first wash cycle. I tried to put a 15AMP fuse in it's place to check it out before I bought a new thermal fuse and it too blew during the first cycle. Any ideas?

Are you replacing the wires along with the fuse? It is important to change the wires too as they are usually the cause for the fuse blowing. Be sure and get the fuse kit that includes the wires. \015\012\015\012Is your water too hot? Hot ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

Blowing fuse... We've replaced the overheating fuse located in the control board area about 5 times. It has just blown again after using the dishwaser one time--before it would go about a month before blowing the fuse. It seems to get about a few minutes away from completing the wash cycle and does not complete the draining process. Help!! We don't know what to do next--replacing the fuse is costing about $15 each time, before you know it we could have bought a new one! Thanks for the help. Ti

Tim, this blown fuse issue was pretty common on this model. Whirlpool, which made this model came out with a fuse kit that included a terminal and heavier guage wire to eliminate this problem. It just splices right into the control board, easy job. T ... Kenmore 17024 Built-in Dishwasher

Kudc10fxss4 I have a KitchenAid KUDC10FXSS4 w/o any power. Circuit breaker is on, and it's getting power. But there are no lights on the display. I called a parts place to see if I could order a thermal cut off fuse. But the representative stated there is no fuse listed for this model. Any ideas on what would be causing a loss of power? Seems odd/wrong to me that there wouldn't be a fuse. If there is a fuse, would it be located in the door (the control is built into the door, such

KitchenAid dishwasher: KUDS01FL - I have had to replace the fuse every year and now I can't even get through on cycle with the fuse going. It is now dead again! It almost makes it through the full cycle and then stops (fuse blows)- no power - and there is some water left in the bottom which I have to physically remove. I spent a fortune on repairs every year since I bought it and would like to try to avoid another charge. I appreciate any help that you can offer. Thank you, Carol

I would check the pump. It may be slightly jammed or have debris which is causing it not to fully move or cause it to move very hard popping the breaker. Kenmore 665.16762000 We were washing dishes the other night and my husband walked into the kitchen to find water pouring out of the "air gap" in the sink. Now we cant get the unit to come on. Ive tried some of the various combinations of button pushing to re-set, but so far still not operating.
