The model number of your dishwasher is DU810... (zero not O).

\015\012Please refer page 28 of user manual. It is normal for some water to stay at end of cycle. However, check if the air gap (if insalled) is clear. Also make sure the kitchen side of drain hose is clear.

\015\012Unless there is a fault condition shown by flashing lights, then it is pretty normal operation.

I have a kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher, Model 15825691. We were recently hit by lighting. Once hit, the dishwasher started up. Since then, all cycles work, however, at the end of any cycle, the dishwasher continues to run and fill the bottom of the washer up to about two inches and then cuts off, so when we open the washer, there is approx 2 inches of water inside no matter what. I have pressed the "Cancel/Drain" button, in which drains the water after two minutes, but when that is finished, the

Whirlpool dishwasher: Model DU920PWKT0; 8 years old Lately, have noticed not full drainage of water at end of cycle... about 1 inch standing (thus 2 inches at the sump). Glasses have had noticeable film on them. Ran the rinse cycle a number of times to explore problem. When I interrupted the cycle, the water on the bottom was soapy, yet no new soap had been introduced. I even colored the water "left" in the tub to see if it was replaced by fresher water. Kitchenaid dishwasher - small pieces of food are left on otherwise clean dishes. Water level comes to about 1 inch below heater coil. I ran it without dishes (or soap) and added about a quart of water so that level came to about 1/4 inch below heater and that's when I noticed food pieces on drain surfaces (nylon filter under bottom spray arm unit and circular plastic "trap" surrounding it). Spray arms holes are clear and water is hot.

It sounds as if you figured the solution out. The holes in the spray arm(s) get plugged by small debris, (tooth picks, seeds, bits of plastic like candy wrappers, etc) and the water does not reach the dishes to wash and rinse effective ... Dishwashers

The top drawer on our dishdrawers makes a clicking kind of noise for about the first 2 - 5 mins of being on. Then goes fine with the occassional clicking noise during the cycle. It is slightly noisier than the bottom drawer. When the cycle is finished there is a couple of inches of water left in the bottom, so the dishes don't dry properly. The bottom drawer works really well with no problems at all. What do you suggest?

Dishwasher Issues My dishwasher is not properly dispensing the dishwasher soap. The flap on the soap container seems to be opening, but the soap is always caked in there after the cycle is finished. I have tried leaving the soap flap open, but that just seems to deposit soap particles on the dishes in the front of the bottom rack. Also, there is often a greasy film left on many of my dishes. Is this a soap issue or a water issue? I am very frustrated! Can you help?
