I have a GE dishwasher model GLDL560N10SS. I noticed a burning smell coming from it the other day and then realized that although I can hear water running into the dishwasher when I start it, it never actually runs in the sense that the water is pushed through the various outlets to wash the dishes. I'm assuming that it is because the unit is dry and the heating element is still coming on that it is causing a burning smell. If I open the unit and reset it, it pumps the water back out into the si

I have had a repairman come out and look at this and he says all the diagnostic test say everything is okay. My problem: my dishes come out dripping wet...like it hasnt dried anything. Sometimes dishes are still dirty. I don't think there is any heat getting to anything. I run the water in the sink beforehand to try to get the water hot. I used this dishwasher for 1-1/2 years with no problems and now I have this problem. What is going on?

I have a Whirlpool DU810SWLQ0 that will not drain. I've pulled the unit out, snaked the drain tube, pulled the motor/pump, and pipe assemblies, and cleaned the food trap, which I also removed. I've run the dishwasher with a bit of bleach, and the water will pump in, get processed by the agitator, and be heated. When the rinse cycle comes, dishes get covered in food, and are never clean. Waste water was being used for a clean rinse. I've run the dishwasher with the drain dangling in a bucket,

My Omega Eurolux Dishwasher (mode: DW211P/1) won't stop cycling, It sems to get stuck during the wash cycle and continues for hours, until I turn it off. If I turn the dial to rinse it rinses fine. When I open the door mid wash cycle the element is cold to touch.

Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB740RC. Not cleaning dishes well. Just in the past couple weeks. When the dishwasher fills with water, how full should it get. When mine fills, it definitely doesn't go up to the element, and just barely makes it to the float switch (not enough to trigger it), makes it to just below the base of it, doesn't come up the side of it at all. Is this normal, or should there be more water. The Water valve has been replaced already.

I have a GE Triton XL dishwasher that is not spraying water onto the dishes. I just reset the power, and that didn't help. Putting it on the rinse only or wash cycle fills the bottom with water, but it sounds like a trickle vs. the spray. The heating element comes on and the soap door opens, but there's not spraying. I made sure there was nothing clogging the water line or other parts. What do you think is wrong?

Bosch Dishwasher I currently own a Bosch dishwasher. One of the selling points, if I'm remembering right, of the dishwasher was it was supposed to super heat the hot water that is coming in from the tap. I have 3 problems. We have to rinse the dishes by hand before putting them in the dishwasher, Otherwise they won't come out clean. The dishwasher will run for four hours sometimes longer. It doesn't seem like it is heating the water any hotter than what comes out of the tap.
