Whirlpool gold built in dishwasher fills, lights are on but does not spray water or drain.

This is a possible sign that the water pump has failed in some way or the control circuit for the water pump has failed. You MIGHT be able to access the pump without pulling the dishwasher out of the cabinet space through the front kick panel. You may have to remove a few screws to get it off. You'll have to work low, on your belly, but it'll beat taking the dishwasher out and turning it on its side. Especially considering it's probably still full of water!

\015\012With the machine on and "running" at the point where it's supposed to be spraying or draining, check for voltage at the pump. If you see 120V there, the pump motor has failed. If you don't see any voltage, the control board assembly has most likely failed in some way. It's located at the top of the door. Again, remove a few screws and tilt it out. I would first check for a blown fuse, burnt board, etc.
\015\012
\015\012I hope this helps! :) Let me know if you need any further assistance in this matter.

The water drains then the unit shuts off. Water feed OK. Drain Cycle OK. Looks like spray pump hung but do not know. Cannot find a reset button (as with disposal) or way to free hung pump motor.
