My accusense light keeps coming on and blinks continuously. I tried the heat-dry, normal sequence and it would reset to 2 minutes. After the 2 minutes cycle, the accusensor blinking would begin again. Then I tried holding the heat-dry button in for 5-seconds. This looked like it worked so we set a normal cycle without heat-dry. Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

KitchenAid KUDP01DLBS2 dishwasher. Runs for a very long time on any cycle; time does not seem to advance. (takes 2.5 hours or more for normal cycle. "sensing soak", "water heating" lights on for a long time, even though it appears that water is not being heated. Checked incoming water temp, is hot. Did not do this when new, something has changed. Typical cycle was 1 hr 10 min. before.

Sounds like the heater inside the dishwasher is not working. The machine is trying to get the water up to a preset temperature, probably in the neighborhood of 140 degrees. That is one of the things that it is sensing. After the machine fi ... Dishwashers

After 3 years it just started making a loud noise, I am no expert but it sounds like a fan in a motor. I have only heard it today, but I am betting it will still happen next load too. I didn't change any of the settings, have been running the same way forever. When I did hear this noise I started pushing buttons to see if I could get it to stop, no good, no change. The cycle has completed and everything looks ok, waiting on the dishes to dry. Drainage has never been a problem for me either.
