Water remains after cycle complete - Whirlpool Gold 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher Dishwasher

Hi\015\012

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Please check that the drain pipe, pump or filter is not kinked, clogged or any foreign object is stuck there. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible clogging or lint is present then you'll have to remove the drain hose. If still not visible then the drain filters or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump. Please also note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance.

Our Whirlpool KUDP01ILBS2 dishwasher isn't working like it used to. Dishes seem to be getting partially clean, they aren't getting dry at all and it seems they may be being rinsed/washed with dirty water. There is plenty of water in the machine when I interupt the cleaning cycle. I always run the hot water in the sink before I start the dishwasher so the first water into the dishwasher is as hot as possible. Also the sani-rinse light is flashing when the cycle "completes".

GE GSD4920Z dishwasher. Problem is that it does not drain completely at the end of the cycle--about an inch of water remains. After checking for clogs, etc, we followed a troubleshooting procedure which involves a hard reset (power off, then reset twice at beginning of cycle) and this procedure successfully drains the tub. However the next time that it's used on a normal cycle, water remains again. Suggestions?
