Having problems with your Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher ?

There is water in the bottom of dish washer after finishing. If I start another cycle, everything drains, so it's not a problem with the hose. I hear water draining. I think it is the drain time. When the machine was under warranty, the service guy came and changed the drain time to longer. He told me how to do it, via the buttons, but have now forgotten where I put such great information. I have a 1996 built in model.

Answers :

We have come up on this many many times. It is not drain time. There is a flapper in the drain hose located where the hose attaches to the pump with towels remove the hose and stick you finger in. It is and angled piece of rubber so it will be difficult but you will feel a flapper. Press lightly on it and make sure it is positioned so that is open freely when you press thus the water will move freely.
Can you show me the diagram on how the spray arm is to be attached with the locking nut...kenmore dishwasher model #665.15752000

I have a Delonghi dishwasher model no. DW67S/W which is coming up with the E4 message. I had this once before and was told to turn it off and on and it righted itself. This time however I used the next bit of advice. I took everything out including the salt cap thing, tipped it on its side and drained all the water out, reconnected the hoses and when I turned it back on it seemed fine....no E4 messaage straight away. It drained out for a while and then starting filling. It has overfilled again

Hi.As you know E4 means overflow. If the problem occurs regularly there is either a problem with drain line, or a fault.Ensured that you have removed all the water from the inside and cleaned thoroughly the drain ... Dishwashers

Our Asko 3530 dishwasher is giving us a 'water inlet fault' code. The machine goes through the pre-drain at cycle start then begins to fill, continues until it's full then kicks out the fault code. I have changed the inlet valve, reset the system to factory default and taken off the lower front panel, finding the overflow area to be dry. Is it time to call for service or is there something else to try before spending the big bucks?

Hi,This sounds like either the overflow sensor or the water control valve is stuck.Usually the valve is a solenoid valve that controls the entrance and fill of the water. If the overflow sensor is underneath, there may be wate ... Asko 24 in. D3530FI Built-in Dishwasher

How can I shut off the water supply to the dishwasher? It fills slowly with water from the top (while not running), and then water spills out over the kitchen floor. By pressing the 'Drain' button, the water will drain out, but I have to get to it before it floods. It takes about 4 hours for it to get to the overflow stage. It is a Jennair model, about 9 years old. We have a lot of limescale, it is probably time to replace it, but for the moment my main concern is to stop the leak. Thank you for

Bosch Model SHV46C03UC/14 Dishwasher won?t drain completely. The drain hose is not kinked or obstructed and it drains into the garbage disposal. If I push the combination of two buttons on the panel, I can pump out residual water, but if I don?t, it stays there. It will become foul smelling within a day if I do not manually remove the water. Bosch technical support won?t talk to me unless I am a service technician, but I can handle this as I do all my appliances. The screens at the bottom o

Water Leak My dishwasher is an Ariston Advantage AF250: I have been told that internally its the same as a Hotpoint DF55. It intermittently leaks water onto the floor from the front at its base during use. At one time it ruined the motor which I had rewound and at the same time I made a new polystyrene float for the base pan overflow switch. All was well for months, but now its leaking again. I have blown through the tubes from the drain filter well to the pressure sensitive switch, but all

Dishlex Global 310 model. My dishwasher has water sitting on the bottom of it and it wont drain. I noticed it after I did a cycle of dirty dishes and the 'fast' light was flashing when I went to open it. Which shouldnt have been because it was on a normal wash. The water has been sitting at the bottom for 2 days now and still wont drain! I've taken out all the parts on the bottom which come out and cleaned them. Still no change however.

Our 16 year old dishwasher takes way longer to finish cycles, has become very loud and now no longer cleans the dishes - especially the top rack and the silverware. We have hard water and I have run it with vinegar in a bowl 3 times and have been cleaning all the deposits I can today. It doesn't seem to be draining out all the gunk. Water flow seems ok, the arms have nothing blocking them. Any instructions for me to follow to clean out the mechanisms? Or has it run its lifespan... Thanks!
